APPEAL TO THE WORLD CIVILIZATION
Dear friends,
Dear world civilization,
With consternation we would like to inform You that on the 01.04.1999 at 5:00
AM, NATO fascists on non-civilization and barbarian way, with their
"democratic" bombs, have demolished old Petrovaradin bridge in city of Novi
Sad. Old Petrovaradin bridge was located on old Petrovaradin road connecting
Novi SAD and Belgrade, bridge was over 200 years old and was protected as
culture monument as a part of Petrovaradin castle. Due to its age old bridge
was used only for pedestrians and light vehicles.
Old bridge in Novi Sad tied all people of good will from both sides of Danube
river and testified about rich history and culture of these parts of Serbia,
for us it represented testimony of existence of our nation on that part of
our country. In this letter we will not write to You about economic damage,
we will write You about NATO fascist who on beginning of 21 century, under
cover of humanitarian catastrophe that they themselves made, are trying to
destroy history and steadiness of Serbian nation.
In the last nine days NATO barbarians have bombed our schools, hospitals,
bridges, killed our people but that was not enough for them now they have
started to destroy our culture monuments which represents the core of
existence of our nation.
Few days ago in another criminal act they have seriously damaged monastery
Rakovica, and yesterday their bombs fell on monastery Gracanica dated from 14
century which is under UNESCO protection as a monument of unspeakable culture
value to the world.
For us Serbs as nation with long history and tradition, nation anxious for
peace and mutual life with everyone, bridges represents ties between nations
and cultures, because of all this it is for us unthinkable that on the
beginning of new millenium destiny of world civilization lies in the hands of
an American sex maniac, his frustrated clerk and his dogs of war desperate
for money and profit.
As young people who believe in god and justice we can say You this: "We Serbs
have never attacked anyone, we have never taken anything from anyone but we
have always protected ours, our country, our culture and our freedom."
Regardless NATO barbarians from Your countries, we are asking You that when
You put Your children to sleep at night think about children and old people
who are sleeping in cold basements and shelters of Belgrade, Pristina, Novi
Sad...., regardless what nationality they are, no meter if they are
Hungarians, Albanians, Romanians, Muslims or Serbs.
Think about how many food, clothes, houses can be made out of money that all
of You as tax payers give to world parasite-NATO, which for nine days now are
killing our people, destroying their homes and their future.
Raise Your voice, support Serbia in struggle and wish to live free and
sovereign. Change military technologies with science achievements that will
help that world on the beginning of 21st century wouldnt have hungry and sick
children and that would help people to live in peace.
On the same day, when NATO fascists were destroying old bridge in Novi Sad by
their bombers, demolishing our schools, museums and factories in Novi Sad,
Pristina, Kraljevo, and other cities in Serbia and Montenegro, president of
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic met leader of Kosovo and
Metohija Albanians dr Ibrahim Rugova.
Just a few days ago, worlds media manipulators CNN, BBC, and SKY NEWS
informed you that Serbs murdered dr Ibrahim Rugova and burned his house to
the ground.
Unfortunately for the NATO fascists, house of dr Ibrahim Rugova is untouched
and it is under protection of Serbian Police, and dr Ibrahim Rugova is pretty
much alive. Yesterday, he was demanding momentarily cease of bombing Serbia
and ruthless murdering and devastation. Today he came to Belgrade to meet
president of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic, and to reopen
dialogue which is going to stop humanitarian disaster produced by bombs of
NATO fascists.
Today, president of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Slobodan Milosevic
declared a firm stand of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia to solve critical
issues on Kosovo and Metohija only through dialogue. Solution of these issues
would produce highest level of rights and freedoms by all worlds standards
for Albanians as national minority. Peace process can start immediately after
cease of NATO bombing and trials for war crimes of all NATO fascists, to
prevent any attacks on sovereign countries on the doorstep of twenty first
century.
After todays president Milosevic and dr Rugovas meeting, Serbian people, once
again, sent message of peace to the whole world, with intention for all
Yugoslavia's nations and national minorities to live in peace.
These days, worlds media manipulators (CNN, BBC, SKY NEWS etc.) are trying to
prosecute president Milosevic for disaster of civilians, without regarding
their national belonging. But their lies, like murder of dr Rugova and
burning his house, after this meeting faced disaster.
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Serbia will defend their freedom despite
of all casualties and devastation committed by NATO fascists, because we have
justice and truth on our side.
Still, NATO aggressors threat to point their bombers toward large cities. So,
now we can see real nature of NATO fascists which want to forkful their dirty
intentions without regarding number of murdered children and other innocent
civilians.
Therefore, we bring to you appeal of Prof. Dr Momcilo Babic, director of
Bezanija Hospital, who asked us to inform all people of good will, what
targets in Belgrade are next in range of the fascistic NATO air force:
" In case the NATO alliance leaders are not familiar with the fact that if
they strike government buildings in Belgrade during phase 3 of their actions
against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, this an urgent warning to them
and all who are monitoring their actions: Downtown Belgrade, close to the
building of the Ministry for Internal Affairs, on approximately 50 m is the
location of the Belgrade Emergency Medical Service and 100 m away lay the
Clinical Center of Serbia with 4,000 hospital beds.
Beside the Ministry of Defense in downtown Belgrade, as well, at a distance
of approximately 200 m, a large health care object is located with 200
outpatients rooms and the Clinic for Urology of the University of Belgrade.
Consider this a WARNING SENT ON TIME since WAR CRIMES are ALWAYS the subject
of a law suit and the bombing of such targets will definitely render personal
responsibility for grave endangering and destruction of human life.
No court in the world would ever be able to save the ones ordering and
executing such orders from sentencing them as war criminals. "
