Actually, it's less than that. Look at the map. From Kosovo to Albania or
Montenegro is "across the street" -- the borders join. The only question is,
how many YARDS did the refugees have to walk before they faced the mass
media? Serb police/armies? Not on the other side of the checkpoint. (What
about those UN peacekeepers IN Kosovo?)
Something doesn't compute here. The news "blackout" seems convenient for
someone other than the Serbs (who do definitely want those ethnic Albanians
off "their" property).
If you want to deal with a REALLY hairy issue, where are all the able-bodied
MEN from Kosovo? The Germans (who built concentration camps in Serbia in
WWII) are saying "concentration camps," but nobody has any reliable
first-hand information ... We DO know that the KLA (famous as international
drug-smugglers, the "Colombians" of the Balkans) is increasingly being
regarded by NATO as a "Kosovo Liberation Front" and is rising in favor with
the Allies as a future bulwark between Albania and the Serbs in Kosovo.
Maybe the CIA and SAS are secretly assembling them into ground troops for
defense? You never know, when ALL sides are obviously lying -- in this
senseless dogfight where EVERYONE is insane and NO side is guiltless --
including our own. .
