Review of Genesis of the Grail Kings.

 A book by Laurence Gardener

 Review by ADR

This week the author of the international bestseller, Blood line of the Holy
Grail, released his latest book, Genesis of the Grail Kings.

Gardener follows up on his previous work, attempting to trace the 'saang
real' or noble bloodline of Jesus and King David, even further back. So far
back in fact, that he even concludes the book with a family tree tracing the
bloodlines back through the Israelites, Unified Monarchy (David and Solomon),
the 18th Dynasty/New Kingdom of Egypt and then further back up the Israelite
line all the way to Adam and then to the gods themselves! This is where
Gardener's work completely falls apart.

Apparently, and I might even say tragically, Laurence Gardener is the
Jacobite Historiographer Royal, an internationally known sovereign and
chivalric genealogist, Chevalier Labhran de St Germain, President Attache to
the European Council of Princes and formally attached to the Noble Household
Guard of the Royal House of Stewart, and is the Chancellor of the Imperial
and Royal Court of the Dragon Sovereignty which embodies the Knights Templar
of St Anthony.

But all these titles can't stop his work from lacking in true history,
incorrect Egyptian genealogies borrowed from Ahmed Osman's incredibly
erroneous works and a complete misunderstanding of biblical theology and
ancient mythology. He uses Sitchin's works and thus falls into the trap
of thinking the gods such Anu, Ea, Ellil and so on, to be real people.

I mostly specialise in Indology and Indo-European history, and because of the
contact the Mitanni, an Indo-Aryan ruling class, made with the Egyptians
during the New Kingdom, I have also had to study the 18th Dynasty in
considerable detail. There is no doubt that that era had a considerable
influence of some of the religious movements that occured after it, but
researchers such as Ahmed Osman, blow the whole of dynasties personalities
out of proportion and even insult their memories by using them to back up
Biblical and Quranic stories.

Yes, Tuthmosis IV is most probably the real character upon which King David is
based, and so is Amonhotep III for Solomon, but after that you can hardly
find a single thing to link Akhenaten with Moses, or Smenkhare with Aaron,
or, can you believe this one, Tutankhamun with Jesus. There's very little to
nothing in parallel between their lives.

Gardener makes an Osman of himself, he might be a genealogist, but he is not
an archaeologist nor a very well educated historian.

An example of the errors he makes regarding the New Kingdom and the Mitanni
(who he says decend from Hamites and ruled a large portion of Palestine, total
nonsense!) is the genealogies of the families. A quick look at the family tree
shows that he makes Nefertiti the daughter of Sitamun, if that were so then
Nefetiti would only have been a few years old when Akhenaten married
her, but thats not the case.

It has been proven by Joyce Tyldesley and accepted by all Egyptologists, that
Nefertiti is the daughter of Aye and Tey. Yet another mistake is making Kiya,
a secondary wife of Akhenaten, a daughter of Gilukhepa (a Mitanni wife of
Amonhotep III). Kiya is actually Tadhukhepa and was the daughter of Tushratta
and the niece of Gilukhepa.

He borrows from Osmans work in stating that Yuya is the biblical
Joseph/Yusef. Maybe there is some borrowing by the writers of Genesis, but
Joseph was a minister to the Pharaoh placed in charge of all of Egypt, Yuya
was a priest but his job was in the army where he was also in charge of all
the horse trainers and horses.

He also makes Smenkhare into Aaron, simply by changing his name to
Smenkhare-on. A deliberate forgery, the same way Osman tried to say that
Nefertiti was also called Meri-Amun, therefore she had to be Miriam. She did
not have this name, it was General Horemheb who had the name Mery-Amun. Did he
give birth to Jesus by immaculate conception? Are the Essenes named after
Esa/Yeshua? No. And enough of this history twisting.

The most upto date and accurate genealogy of the period as compiled myself
and the works of Joyce Tyldesley show itself like this:

 Egyptian Geneaology:

Artatama I (of Mitanni). Father of Mutemwia, wife of Tuthmosis IV.

Mutemwia, sister of Yuya and mother of Amonhotep III.

Yuya, son of Artatama, husband of Thuyu and father of Ay, Anen and Tiy.

Tiy, wife of Amonhotep III, sister of Aye and Anen(who dies early) and mother
of Amonhotep IV, aka Akhenaten.

Akhenaten, King of Egypt, husband of Nefertiti and Tadhukhepa/Kiya.

Nefertiti, wife of Akhenaten, daughter of Ay and Tey, sister of Mutnodjmet
and mother of Meritaten, Meketaten, Neferneferuaten, Neferneferure, Setepenre
and Ankhsenpaaten/Ankhsenpaamun.

Tadhukhepa/Kiya, (dies early) mother of Meritaten the younger, Ankhsenpaaten
the younger, Tutankhaten/Tutankhamun and possibly
Smenkhare.

Tutankhamun, son of Akhenaten and Kiya, husband of Ankhesenpaaten.

Ankhesenpaaten, daughter of Akhenaten and Nefertiti.

Aye, father of Nefertiti, grandfather of Ankhesenpaaten. Uncle of Gilukhepa
and brother of Tiye.

Horemheb, husband of Mutnodjmet sister of Nefertiti.

 Mitanni Geneaology

Artatama, father of Mutemwia and Shuttarna.

 Shuttarna, father of Gilukhepa.

Gilukhepa, niece of Aye, niece of Mutemwia and Yuya.

 Tushratta, father of Tadhukhepa/Kiya.

Tadhukhepa/Kiya, niece of Gilukhepa and mother of Tutankhamun.

Osman wanted to prove that Aye was the historical Joseph of Arimethea and was
the uncle of Tutankhamun, but the above proves he was not.

Gardener makes mistakes regarding ancient folklore of the Indians when he
tries his hand at Yogic and mystical knowledge.

He states that 'soma' is a hormone excreted by the pineal gland. It is not.
Soma was a combination of ephedra and harmel, crushed and mixed with water and
then drunk. The Persians called it 'haoma' and it was used also by the
Zoroastrians during their fire worshipping ceremonies derived from Rig Vedic
practise, also illustrated in the story of Moses and the talking burning bush.

Though I admire Gardener for showing clear cross cultural links, he goes too
far in believing that Annunaki came down and created the human race
using cloning techniques. Surely, they could have done better if that were
true.

But most ridiculously, in effect he is actually saying that since kingship
was given by the gods and the kings were the blood descendants of the gods,
this means that all monarchs, nobles and modern day blue bloods have the right
to rule over the people of the earth! This slaps itself in the face because
the very craftsmen that were meant to protect this knowledge were also the
creators of modern day democracy and liberty.

More crazy ideas include the pyramids being built by a spiritual, alchemy
based anti-gravity technology. Gardener says, '... the pyramids were
doubtless constructed with the technology of the superconducting highward
firestone - the sacred anti-gravitational shem-an-na produced at the Mount
Serabit temple of Hathor.'

So, we have Mark Lehner and Zawi Hawass who have shown people
the remains of the ramps used to transport the stones and some of the burial
tombs of the craftsmen complete with details about them, but hey, lets forget
about that and go with the magic powder that produces anti-gravity!

Gardener continues, 'The once sealed King's Chamber was, in fact, contrived
as a super conducter, capable of transporting the pharaoh into another
dimension of spacetime through the Meissner Field.' The old kingdom pharaohs
have, according to Gardener, left this dimension. I just hope wherever they
turn up, they were wearing more than a simple loin cloth that they are
normally depicted wearing. Imagine they turned up in a Siberia or even worse,
a Soho men's bar.

Gardener is saying the same thing as if we were to stick Sitchin and Osman
together. Quite sad really, but I'm sure he will sell a few books
to people who do not know any better, and thus pocket a fair dinkums worth.

My feelings are Michael Rohls, Laurence Gardener and Ahmed Osman might only
be doing favours for the Jewish, Christian and Islamic establishments and that
there is no doubt they might even be getting a nice wage from it aswell. They
deliberately avoid historical facts in order to back up religious texts which
have no historical basis. Because of that I have to give Gardeners book an
absolute zero out of ten.
