The answer I keep coming up with is that no one in the gold market wants the full truth about gold to get out.This includes Bill Murphy and GATA... who knows my book, The Secret Gold Treaty, but ignores it as though it doesn't exist... likewise the Project Hammer File, which he has consistently refused to even read.The question is why?The fact is that all this "black gold" doesn't officially exist and never has. Bringing reality to the light will, of course, collapse the price of gold, even as it begins its relentless journey to spike higher in price. GATA, who are predominantly "goldbugs" - that is holders and lovers of gold - want the price to leap as high as possible, as they all stand to make handsome profits from a price spike.The "derivative gang" cannot openly ackowledge the existence of massive quantities of black gold for the very good reason that they have been party to the suppression of accurate mining statistics for decades past - and have traded on, and profited by, artificial lower gold volume figures. While they cannot now say: "hey, look at all that shiny metal over there," they can - and I believe they will - get out of jail becuase of the intervention of the Fed and the US Treasury. In other words, some of that black gold will enter the official market to close out their positions, but this will never be made public. Not to forget that whereas the short position of the gang are thought to be around 15,000 metric tones, this is not admitted by anyone, so "officially" there is no large short position to cover. In other words, both sides are playing games.Lastly, just how can there be greater quantities of gold in existence than is officially admitted. Well, let's see...Mining sources (for example) confirm that upwardsof 30% of annual gold production goes directly and secretly into the black market, principally to avoid taxes, but also for private benefit etc. In the past, this volume has been as high as 70% or more. This 30% (or higher) amount obviously does not impact on the official mining figures. Likewise, those same "official" figures never took into consideration gold production in the former Soviet Union, which was the second largest gold producer after South Africa. Likewise, they never have taken into consideration production in China and Southeast Asia. Never.Incidentally, I know Seagrave and know most - possibly even all - of his sources, too. We are the only two seriously working on this subject. Seagrave avoids directly mentioning in the text just how much gold really exists but prefers to squirrel such information away in footnotes or via indirect references. For example, in his Yamato Dynasty he duplicates a treasure map he got from Bob Curtis of a Philippines plunder site which he reveals was worth 777 billion yen (page 184 in the Bantam Press edition). What he doesn't mention in the text but does include in his footnotes (page 354) is the exchange rate of Japanese Yen to the US Dollar as at 1945 - i.e., between three and four yen to the dollar. In other words this one site had a 1945 value of US$190 billion. And that is just one of 176 treasure sites in the Philippines alone. The reason Seagrave won't speak openly about these matters is - as he told me during a meeting in London October 1999 - he doesn't wish to upset the CIA or US Treasury, as doing so would be like standing in the road in front of a Mack truck... one just gets squashed. Well, that's his choice. I prefer to to be a lot more explicit and duck later. Privately, Seagrave will tell you that the value of all the gold and plunder buried in the Philippines during WWII has a current value of around US$100 trillion (yes, trillion). But he won't come out and say this pubicly for fear, I suspect, of being ridiculed.Before closing, let's just play with some maths on the above $190 billion. In 1945, the price of gold was $35.00 per ounce (now worth almost 10 times that much). There are approximately 32,150 ounces to a metric tonne. Do the maths by dividing 190 billion by 35 and then dividing the result by 32,150 to get to the metric tonnage represented by $190 billion. In running these figures through your spreadsheet or calculator, do bear in mind that currently (2002), the official above ground stock of gold throughout the world is said to be about 145,000 metric tonnes (mined over 6,000 years). cache of gold in the far east that exceeds current world supply, then

crushed by the increasing price of gold to start bringing this
information to light.
Are they waiting for the price to go up a bit further before they
begin to short it, or is the far east gold just a story without a
true connection to the power elite?
In addition, Ruppert's research uncovered vast quantities of gold in
Saudi Arabia. Is news of this source also to remain hidden?
As of the timing of this post, spot gold sits at appox. $359.25 per
oz.
If I were a London banker who had lent gold at 1% interest and the
proceeded to write calls or buy puts, then I would think this would
be something of interest.
