More about Fabianism

(excerpt from)
http://www.wso.net/kurios/eminence_front.htm
Of Politics, Professional Wrestling,
And the Hegelian Dialectic

By David Brooks

The political world is all pomp and circumstance anyway. Its an imminence
front: its a put-on. Its all smoke and mirrors, designed to give an illusion
and make it look real. As William Shakespeare wrote, All the worlds a stage,
and every one an actor. He should know.

Of Professional Wrestling

That brings us to the spectacle of modern professional wrestling. What in the
world do politics and professional wrestling have in common? Im glad you asked.

One person I know, when caught watching wrestling on television, informed me
that the plots closely resembled Greek mythology. I have to admit that my
familiarity with Greek mythology is superficial, and my familiarity with the
specifics of professional wrestling is less than that. Therefore, I can neither
confirm nor refute that assertion. One thing I do know is that it does closely
resemble politics.

I dont know who borrowed the premise from whom, which came first (the chicken
or the egg), but the two are exactly the same sort of affair. In one they wear
tights and capes and masks, in the other they wear business suits, but the sport
is essentially the same. Both are more of an exhibition than a contest. Both are
carefully scripted and planned out for the entire season. Both feature good
guys and bad guys who can reverse their image as ratings dictate. Both
feature shaky alliances that can also change drastically from week to week. Both
feature long and loud confrontations, verbal assaults, and a barrage of threats,
but no one ever really gets hurt. In both the most hated of rivals at work can
be the best of drinking buddies after the show. They all know that they need
each other to function, that really they are the same thing, and work for the
same boss.

The Bushster. Al 3:16. McCainamania. N.W.O. indeed.

Of the Hegelian Dialectic

That now brings us to the principles that underwrite the big production.

There are several philosophical principles that underlie modern social
engineering in general, and modern politics in particular. One is the concept of
Fabianism, or gradualism. This philosophy/process is named for the ancient Roman
general Fabian, who won control of areas through attrition. Those who didnt
want to be Romanized would often fight passionately to defend their homelands
and local culture. Therefore, he would utilize a superior support and logistical
structure to engage his opponents in a series of hit and run skirmishes designed
to wear them down over the long term, avoiding all-out confrontation which he
feared he could lose. It was a sort of death by a thousand small cuts
approach.

This premise as applied to politics and social engineering is that ends are
achieved by means of a relentless slow process of subtle pressure. It is a bend
but dont break approach. That is why weve had forty years of continual
crisis, of protests and riots and upheavals of various kinds, always threatening
the fabric of American life, but never quite exploding into full-blown chaos and
anarchy. It is the philosophy of slow and steady controlled revolution.

The second principle which coincides with this is known as the Hegelian
Dialectic. This is the application of the principles of German philosopher Georg
W.F. Hegel who lived from 1770-1831. He developed an all-embracing
philosophical system, set forth in such works as Phenomenology of Mind (1807),
Science of Logic (1812-16), and Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences
(1817), which included theories of ethics, aesthetics, history, politics, and
religion. The Hegelian method of logic was based on the concept of advancing
contradictory arguments, of thesis and antithesis, and seeking their resolution
by synthesis. (1) In other words, it is a continual process of conflict and
compromise.

Hegel may have believed this to be a naturally occurring phenomenon, but he was
not oblivious to the fact that it seemed to be a guided process, by someone or
something. In an age when academia favored pure naturalism, Hegel retained some
spiritual element to his philosophy.

At the center of the universe Hegel posited an enveloping absolute spirit that
guides all reality, including human reason. His absolute idealism envisages a
world-soul, evident throughout history, that develops from, and is known
through, a process of change and progress now known universally as the Hegelian
dialectic. According to its laws, one concept (thesis) inevitably generates its
opposite (antithesis); their interaction leads to a new concept (synthesis),
which in turn becomes the thesis of a new triad. (2)

But his notion of spirituality is far from a traditional Judeo/Christian
worldview. His enveloping absolute spirit is more akin to that of the occult,
i.e., Luciferian or Satanic. Whether or not he studied and intentionally
incorporated occult doctrine is not known for certain. Nevertheless, a
Kabbalistic worldview has been perceived by some in his philosophy. Prof.
Evgueni Tortchinov of the University of St. Petersburg in Moscow has said that
he believes similarities really exist and goes on to say we can find some
very interesting similarities with Kabbalistic world-view not only in Hegel's
philosophy but in other contemporary systems as well. (3)

In modern (and now post-modern) history this Hegelelian Dialectic principle is
NOT a randomly occurring phenomenon. It is a tactic adopted by the engineers of
the New World Order who manipulate it to give the appearance of social
evolution. In truth, they have the ends all preconceived and then shape the
needed thesis and antithesis to produce it. Brilliant, yes. Random, absolutely
not.

The practical real world outworking of this philosophy is clearly seen in the
two party American political system. The continual struggle between two
competing ideologies resulting in an unending state of compromise. Checks and
balances. Sure.

Another classic and graphic example of this dynamic at work was seen in the
Cold War between western capitalism and Soviet communism. In the United States
we were presented with the destruction of the Berlin Wall and the opening up of
Russia and former Soviet occupied territories as being great victories of the
west (through a Fabianistic approach). In actuality, it was a victory of the
Hegelian Dialectic. It signified as much of a Fabianistic defeat for the
traditional freedoms of the U.S. as it did for the communism of the U.S.S.R.
Synthesis was completed. Time to begin a new triad.

The two countries were now so much alike that our similarities were greater than
our differences. The social engineers had reached ground zero. Both countries
were now ready for the New World Order synthetic ideology: monopolistic
capitalism at the top, and socialism for the masses. Religion had given way to
materialism and spiritual tolerance. We were now morally pliable, ready to be
shaped into virtually anything. Class structure had indeed been done away with.
There are no longer different classes of people. However, there are now two
different species of them: the handful of higher evolved elites who own
everything and control everything (including presidents), and the rest of the
world, the masses, who are considered almost as domestic animals, livestock to
be herded, bred, controlled and exploited.

Watch closely for the next triad of thesis and antithesis to shape up. It should
be a doozy.

How can a simple person like me see holocaust at the door while powerful
elitists see nothing tyrannical? When I look through the peephole of history, I
see super-tyrants Hitler, Stalin, Tojo, Mao, Mussolini, and Pol Pot holding
hands with Marx, Lenin, and George Bernard Shaw!

Following Karl Marxs death in 1883, his theories were made a world force by two
developments rise of the Fabian Society in England and Lenins Bolshevik
movement. In 1884, a small group of English intellectuals formed the Fabian
Society. Their goal was to establish the same classless, godless, socialistic,
one-world society envisioned by Marx. Fabian leadership was assumed by Beatrice
and Sidney Webb and George Bernard Shaw. {1}

Shaw described himself as a "Communist," but differed with Marx over how the
revolution would be accomplished and by whom Shaw and the Fabians worked for
world revolution not through an uprising of workers but through indoctrination
of young scholars. Fabians believed that eventually these intellectual
revolutionaries would acquire power and influence in the official and unofficial
opinion-making and power-wielding agencies of the world. Then, they could
quietly establish a socialistic, one world order Fabian Socialists rejected
all suggestions that they form a political movement of their own. They planned
to spread their influence by penetrating existing educational institutions,
political parties, the civil service, etc.

Twentieth century liberalism, as an ideology of social control, goes
back to the Progressive movement in this counry and Fabianism in Britain. Its
primary base of support was the New Class of social engineers, planners,
technocrats and "helping professionals" who saw themselves as divinely appointed
to manage the lower orders for their own good. Although the term "New Class" was
coined by Milovan Djilas to describe the bureaucratic collectivism of communist
society, it is well suited for the ruling class under welfare state liberalism.
Orwell's description of this class is as good as any.

The Hillary Rodham wing of the Democratic Party clearly looks to Tony Blair's
Britain as a model of the Third Way socialism she seeks to import into the US:
but then this is old-fashioned Fabianism, rather than Leninism, and in any case
Hillary and her gang of left-Clintonians are loyal only to themselves.

Benn's reference to the Webbs is significant. Sidney and Beatrice Webb were the
founders of the Fabian Society, which Benn has been associated with ever since
joining the Labour Party in 1942. Emerging in the mid-1880s, Fabianism has
largely defined the political physiognomy of the Labour Party. It advocated a
type of evolutionary collectivism carried out primarily by enlightened
sections of the bourgeoisie, in direct opposition to Marxist socialism and the
class struggle ideologies that dominated the European workers' movement.

Speaking about British Fabianism, Leon Trotsky wrote: Throughout the whole
history of the British Labour movement there has been pressure by the
bourgeoisie upon the proletariat through the agency of radicals, intellectuals,
drawing-room and church socialists and Owenites who reject the class struggle
and advocate the principle of social solidarity, preach collaboration with the
bourgeoisie, bridle, enfeeble and politically debase the proletariat. [
