-Caveat Lector- That outfit in Texas is called THE WHITE BROTHERHOOD.It is a subset fringe of the Klan as thought by some, or it runs the Klan invisibly as thought by others. It is not mainstream Klan though, I have known a few Arkansas klansmen fairly well, and there is plenty reason to believe that the White Brotherhood of Texas (although sharing similiar ideologies) is not connected nationally with the Klan in general, or if they are it is all done in the shadows.I also personally knew (my ex next door neighbor) a fellow well acquainted with the Great White Brotherhood. At that time, he offered to help me financially and guaranteed me a loan of whatever amount I wanted, if I would agree to the brotherhood terms, for which I thanked him, but never availed myself of. Undoubtedly he personally was trying to help me, and he had enough acquaintence of me to be confident of my abilities to keep the offer personal, which is why I will not mention his name.I know the offer was bonified, because several years later his wife took him to the cleaners, and he got divorced and went back to Texas broke. Within a year he was the owner of a fairly expensive Barbaque and Pizza Parlor operation, and he sure didn't have the bread himself to accomplish that, and he was not the type to be disposed to thievry. Heh, I doubt he picked the money off of what few trees are in Texas. But to think of them as "White Knights" is to me about as laughable as calling Giancianna a "White Knight", yet nobody is all bad, whatever their station in life is.I guess the color of the knights armour depends on your eyesight. Most folks are color blind. For those of U that understand the nature of Lucis Trust, be advised that the Great White Brotherhood has its roots therein.............Doubt that? Here is an interesting clue.So unless you use the term "White Knights" to describe the servants of Lucifer, I think the name is Orwellian to say the least, for I wuz always old fashiondly romanic enough to think of "White Knights" as the GOOD GUYS.Nothing is as it seems.

I was looking for information for a friend in my extensive library when I
came upon the book, Klandestine - The Untold Story of Delmar Dennis and His
Role in the FBI's War Against the Ku Klux Klan. The book is written by
William H. McIlhany 11.
The first appearance of the White Knights is on the jacket. Here is a little
of it from the second paragraph: Klandestine is the first account to report
on the /rev. Delmar Dennis, principal FBI underground operative in the Ku
Klux Klan. A methodist minister now active in the John Birch Society, Rev.
Dennis faced peril as he led two lives, as Klansman and as government spy.
Nor did his troubles end when he surfaced at the trial in Jackson. He was
harassed on the streets of his hometown, Meridian. His family broke up under
the pressure. He lost his job. Attempts were made to depict him as a
fugitive and haul him up before a pro-Klan judge. Twice his life was
threatened. But Mr. Dennis stood firm, sustained by faith in God and faith
in his country.
Klandestine is a chilling look inside the Klan and its world of violence,
hatred - and cowardice. We follow Delmar Dennis from his initiation into the
White Knights to his role as trusted aide to Grand Wizard Sam H. Bowers Jr.
Long a staunch opponent of Communism, Rev. Dennis quickly saw how alien the
Klan is to the American way of life, despite its pretensions to Christianity
and patriotism.
Was there a hidden purpose behind Bowers' attempts to create race war in
Mississippi? Each reader will form his own judgment, but perhaps Bowers
himself dropped a clue when he remarked, "The typical Missippi redneck
doesn't have sense enough to know what he is doing. I have to use him for my
own cause and direct hi every action to fit my plan."
Included in the appendices: eye-opening official Klan documents, many not
available to the public elsewhere. Among them are the texts of the
initiation ceremony and constitution of the White Knights, as well as secret
instructions and speeches from the Grand Wizard. It all adds up to a rare
look at the underside of American politics.
Seems the thing for us to find out now, Charles, is whether or not we have
been receiving messages from the Ku Klux Klan. Though I had met a Klansman
in Las Vegas and had dinner on his six-gun patrolled ranch, I had never
heard of the White Knights until the "Dove of Oneness" began sending posts
to my address.
Regards,
Cliff.
