Several high level U.S. military commanders have
either been "relieved" of command or died under cloudy
circumstances. Just a week ago, the Navy brought
charges of sexual misconduct against an Admiral in
command of the USS Kittyhawk carrier task force which
was enroute to the Persian Gulf. The Admiral was
literally removed in midstream (at sea) and flown off
the carrier. Recall that several high-ranking U.S.
naval officers were canned after the so-called
"Operation Skyhook" affair in which 1 or 2 female
officers said they were "sexually harassed" at a
traditional pilot's graduation party. Then there was
the strange case of Admiral Borda who supposedly shot
himself with a shotgun in the frontyard of his
Washington area home a few years ago.
I would suggest that whenever a "Flag" Officer takes
his or her oath to the United States Constitution
seriously....and therefore doesn't carry out certain
orders.....they are gotten rid of....one way or
another.
