MJ This is MOSTLY ass-backwards. Lincoln is by far the WORST President this nation has endured. Farrell's #2 and #6 are in an almost dead heat for number 2 with the other as number 3.
The BEST President, by far, was Martin van Buren.

Lincoln overruled the opinion of Chief Justice Taney that suspension of habeas corpus was unconstitutional, and in consequence the mode of the State was, until 1865, a monocratic military despotism. . . .
