Israel has asked for $8 billion in loan guarantees and $4 billion in defense aid. This “call-in” day is designed to show our nation’s leaders that there is strong opposition to this plan that will remain silent. In fact, a new Zogby poll found that respondents opposed this new aid package to Israel by a margin of nearly 2 to 1 (57% opposed to 29% in favor). What To Do: On Wednesday, March 12th, call, fax, and e-mail your members of Congress and let them know that you, and the American people, do not support the proposed $12 billion aid package to Israel.
