Father Pierre Charles, Professor of
Theology at the Jesuit College in Louvain, France, stated in a 1938 essay:
Too right! The good Jesuit
Professor ought to know. For it was his fellow Jesuits whose hidden hand is
made visible in the Protocols concoction.
The site also promotes another
well-worn but deliberate lie -- an out of context quote from
Disraeli.
Benjamin Disraeli included in his novel �Coningsby� (1844) a passage in
which the rich Jew Sidonia describes how he travelled from country to country to
raise a loan, and in each capital found that the minister concerned was a Jew.
He ends his tale with the comment:
And this paragraph came from a
Jew who was later to become Prime Minister! Needless to say, Judeophobes who quote this as some �proof of
the power of the Jews,� always manage to overlook the fact that the
various ministers named were in reality
non-Jews.
But of course, a lie will travel the
world seven times over before truth has had a chance to put its boots
on.
By implication, the reader of the
Protocols is to be persuaded that the alleged Zionists and Jews head a worldwide
pyramid of evil to ensnare and enslave mankind. These alleged Jewish
Elders are portrayed as human devils.
One of the many bizarre claims put in
the mouth of the 'Elders' is that freedom of conscience
is their doing. I don't know about the readers here, but
personally I don't view individual "freedom of conscience" as evil. To
the contrary, and to every person i have ever met, individual freedom
to think and live as one chooses is held in high esteem.
Yet in the Protocols,
we are supposed to believe that freedom of thought and conscience is
the design and doing of these evil 'Elders'!
Students of history will immediately identify that the intent of this phrase is taken straight from the curses of the popes of Rome who shunned and persecuted those who dared to dissent from their religious officialdom.
The 'Protocols' here are stating, in a reversed sense, what is anathema to the papacy. In other words, in the 'Protocols,' "freedom of conscience" is presented as the work of human Zionist devils.
Thus taught pope Pius IX in his edict:
What the pope says is that liberty of conscience, freedom of expression, freedom of the press so on and so forth and also those that hold such views, are all symptomatic of "insanity". Another example of carelessness in this forgery, or perhaps an insertion to give clue to its actual authors, is found in Protocol 24 wherein it speaks of the "King of the Jews".
Such a statement would never be made by hardline Jews as these alleged Zionists are supposed to be. The phrase in fact comes form the New Testament, where the Roman procurator Pilate mocks the self-important religionists of Israel, by having an inscription marked on Jesus' cross saying that Jesus is the "King of the Jews". Such a phrase made by an outsider would be a grave insult to any Orthodox Jew, let alone a hardline 'Elder Zionist' referring to their alleged king with such a phrase!
Throughout the 'Protocols,' the inferences in essence condemn near everything the popes and the Jesuits in their vociferous publications and "Bulls" anathematised and fanatically railed against -- the Free Press, Liberalism, Communism, the Reformation, Liberty of Conscience, by inference the Jews and Masons. By implication, it's like reading through the papal "Syllabus or Errors" and co-curses of Catholic writers.
When the implications of the text are placed in reverse, the following appears: The Catholic Church is the only upholder of morality, the social order, faith, patriotism and dignity. The Catholic Church is the only institution which has stood, and which will always stand, in the way of antichrist. The Catholic Church is the great exemplar of methodical work, edifying and moral teachings; she always keeps her children self-respecting, and will never bow to satanic allurements. Only when Catholics become ashamed of professing the precepts of the Church and obeying its commands, shall we have the spread of revolt and false liberalism. The Catholic Church has been blackened by the most ignominious calumnies, her history has been stained, and her noblest activities disgraced. The Practices of the Catholic Church are not out of date or a mere waste of time. Freemasonry is allied with Satan against the Catholic Church. Not all priests are to be trusted; liberal Catholic priests only serve the work of the devil. The Reformation was the work of evil conspirators. Calvin and Luther were financed by them to overthrow the Catholic Church. Freedom and liberty are mere misrepresentations of good. Protestants have unwittingly helped to bring all the evils into our present world. Protestant England aims to destroy the Catholic Church. The Jesuits are not an underhand organization, but all they do is open and above board. The Jesuits are the only organization, however, who can defeat the force of evil in the world. Finally: As long as the Pope remains on his throne in Rome the world is safe! This is exactly what is taught by Catholic ideologues. From their schools, to every retreat and mission given to priests and lay people begins (however even 'spiritually' and benignly), with the schema of St. Ignatius' chimera of "The Two Camps" -- the Catholic Church led by God on one hill, and the combination of Protestants, Jews, Masons, Communists, Socialists and Atheists on the other led by Satan. Well but for time, one could give many other examples of pro-Vatican and Jesuit inferences -- perhaps one of Zuukies "academics" could engage his or herself in a more astute study of the phraseology, but even my meagre plebeian insights from reading Jewish and otherwise literature, tell me that the style of the 'Protocols' is anything but Jewish much less the speech of a group of allegedly thuggish Jewish Zionists.
