Must add a note here; Hap Arnold's daughter married into Douglass
Aircraft....she (Barbara Douglass) was friends to my sister when they
lived in England....and my brother-in-law, WWI stuff, and hero kissed by
DeGalle, was pallbearer to Hap Arnolds funeral. Arnold was one of the
great American Heros also, as far as I was concerned.
So, when there is reference to Arnold nad Douglass, no reference is ever
made to the fact tht the family intermarried some yers ago.
