Certainly , it is what they teach to primary school kids these days. And like so many things being propagated by the 'mainstream', they are often only partially true, or completely wrong. (ie safety and effectiveness of vaccines; safety and effectiveness of fluoridation/chlorination of water supplies; that the CIA doesn't run drugs etc) The fact that THIS particular US Govt administration has gone AGAINST the global mainstream propaganda, is not surprising. Bush's pals could likely be curbed by bigger fish in the European pond, who have shaped Kyotol to their own ends. We have published reports and information from independent experts in their fields, which give a more complete picture of climate change. These reports are easily found on the net, and you will find a vibrant international network or two of scientists who are now on the 'outside' because they dared to speak out about data misuse and falsification. It is a fact that parts of the planet are also experiencing record COLD temperatures, including some oceans. It is a fact that some glaciers are melting, while others are growing in size. It is a fact that some parts of the Antarctic are melting, while other parts are growing rapidly. It is a fact that several other planets in our solar system are experiencing their own rapid climate change. It is a fact that the Sun has been going ballistic over the last few years. It is a fact that the Earth is experiencing an increase in the number of earthquakes and volcanoes. It is a fact that the Earth's magnetic field is weakening at a rate that is alarming many scientists. (Not to mention the appearance of a new 'north magnetic pole' in South Africa, as reported in Nature Magazine last year) It is a fact that we don't know for sure if the Earth is heating or cooling. You can find 'expert' reports showing 'proof' for both points of view - take your pick. I don't claim to know, all I have been saying, is nobody knows, yet. Man made pollutants of all kinds are causing incredible damage to our environment - we haven't even begun to appreciate the damage yet, but, the fact remains that we just do not have the data to show that they are the cause of all this change. It is as simple as that. And I welcome ANYONE with newer information to let me know about it.
