For what it's worth, I made this same point on this list when the bombing started.
The Lewinsky affair also was used to distract the discussion about what was
happening with the Africa Embassy bombing. Insofar as the Illuminati is identical
with the power interests in the oil industry, it affirms the theory. This time,
the US says it attacked Iraq in order to reduce the threat of WMDs; last time, the
invasion of Kuwait was the pretext; before that, it was actually the military
build up of Saddam Hussein's military used to maintain US military presence in the
region--all for the sake of protecting oil flow. Juicy domestic scandals like the
impeachment help to keep Americans from thinking about this history.
