In POC's opinion, a liberated Haida Nation would do more to enhance the
life of typical BC CITIZENS than any other political initiative on the
horizon. Imagine a Haida City, designed and built by the best architects
on the planet. In the 70's the UN commissioned PREVI in Peru. It was
designed by 13 eminent architects from 13 countries as a model VILLAGE (of
several thousand) for the benefit of all of humankind. One of those
architects was Charles Correa from India who was chief architect for New
Bombay in India (initially 250,000 and now > 1,000,000). Haida City could
start off as one model village with a master plan for the future which
would link such villages into a Haida City.
