....can also be used as regulators of atmospheric temperature and gases.
Perhaps the "greenhouse effect" is a natural phenomenon. What are the
norms among the galaxies for the natural lifespan of planets like this?
Maybe very short unless they get helped along. What happened to
Mars? Did natural phenomena cause it to lose its previous atmosphere and
temperature?

    CANADA

Is your real name "Dale Dribble"? Termites are incredible builders. If an
African termite tower were scaled to human size, it would be 2-3 miles
high. The materials used are very strong. The tunnels through the tower
are not random because they provide excellent ventilation. Etcetera,
etcetera.

We should INVITE all of the termites of the world to Canada. A Discovery
TV show this week presented the Shimizu Megacity Pyramid. It will contain
750,000 termites in just 3,000 ft. x 3,000 ft. at the base and 3,000 feet
high. That's about 1,000,000 termites per square mile. The entire world
could fit into 300 x 20 miles of Canada. One expert was interviewed and
she is working on each termite tower being self-sufficient for energy by
using hydrogen from algae in ponds beneath the tower. Another expert is
working on robotized autoconstruction for the termite towers but while it
is developing, the termites themselves could assemble it by more manual
means. And perhaps they could just build the ground level structures for
this generation and build up, generation-by-generation. The
present-generation human-assembled units can become machine-assembled in
later generations. Termites are very clever.

There are many designs for termite cities. All can be designed to have
little or no pollution using PRESENT technology and they can be
self-sufficient for food. "If you don't grow it, you mine it" is the old
saying. A beginning inventory of livestock and seeds plus mined
commodities, all of which are very cheap, can be transformed into all it
takes to build and operate termite cities.

Termites are fine with me. Cochroaches are another matter.
