--- Begin Message --- -Caveat Lector- "The period that this is generally attributed to by most people, is
the last half of the 70th week of Daniel and the reign of the
AntiChrist, which is proposed to be fulfilled at some time in the
future -MichaelScheifler c/o Herb Jamison"
Removing Daniel's 70th week from the 70 weeks clock is as
ridiculous as removing an hour from any clock. Fools are
found by such nonsense as soliciting people willing to
remove the last hour from all the clocks in their house.
Similarly, there is a practical penalty paid by all those who
become induced to willingly remove Daniel's 70th week from
its seventy week or 490 year clock --they become qualified
slaves of neocon mind control in foreign policy and domestic
voting.
What this has to do with cia-drugs list is that "dispensationalism"
or the super-imposition of several sci-fi time warps over the
Bible agitates rapturightist neocon mind control which is just
an unbalanced mideast policy masquerading as religion. Read
Les Coleman's account of rapture-rightist guns for drugs folly
in Lebanon involving chiliast Pat Robertson's org in the
book Trail of the Octopus by Coleman and Donald Goddard.

DIA white hats "touched the Lord's anointed" guns for drugs
op in Lebanon, and the Lord's anointed black hats prevented
the McKee commission's report on Pat Robertson's guns for
drugs involvement by downing the Lockerbie plane, effectively
transferring custody of the documentation from white hats
to black hats due to national security considerations. That
and Verbo http://www.sitbot.net/re/MenWithGunsHysteria
and Pat Robertson still has a Phoenix officer in charge of
Op Blessing. So dispensationalism aces Robertson's mind
(reconstructionist chiliism subservient to Straussian neocon).
"All these things shall be finished", and they were,
"It is finished" is what Jesus said in the middle
of Daniel's 70th week of seven years. A remark out
of context? Hardly. There was a run-on of a second
half of Daniel's 70th week of seven years as the covenant
was "confirmed", as Daniel said. The redundancy of a
second half of a week or three and a half more years
of miracles was to "confirm", according to Daniel.
What use would a dead covenant be? So three and
a half more years of miracles followed the first three
and a half which led to the crucifixion. Sin and
sacrifice were supposed to end in the middle of
the week, according to Daniel, but miracles per diem
and miracles per capita were the same for three and
a half years either side of the crucifixion, to "confirm"
according to Daniel, "He healed them all(Luke 4:40,6:19)"
pre-crucifixion and "they were healed every one(Acts 5:16)"
post-crucifixion, half a week either side.
In the new testament, the four gospels and the book of
Acts of the Apostles tell the story of Daniel's 70th week,
with Jesus being crucified in the middle. The gospels
tell about the first half of Daniel's 70th week or three
and half years pre-crucifixion, the book of Acts is the
account of three and a half years post-crucifixon. The
clock of Daniel's seventy weeks ran about the time of
Peter and Cornelius, and of Saul's conversion, or three
and a half years into the book of Acts. You count
Passovers in the gospels to find the first three and a half
years or half of Daniel's 70th week, that much is easy.
In the middle of the week of seven years Jesus was
crucified, the language of Daniel parallel to Hebrews
as far as Jesus being Prince that should come and
"making an end of sin and sacrifice"--a good prince
and a good thing that sacrifice was ended if sin was
ended. With that interpretation the next three and
a half years must have concluded three and a half
years later, not detached and stored in some time warp
to continue thousands of years later.
Dispensationalism projects interpretations of
the Bible that conjure a whole series of time
warps--Pre-Adamic man as origin of demons,
Genesis Gap for evolution, Daniel's 70th week
removed from the first 69. Dispensationalism
is convenient to non-Christian neocon foreign
policy.
You get a very big antichrist and Satan when you
go with the time warp interpretation of Daniel,
with its detachment of seven years from the rest,
since you substitute a whopping big antichrist
as prince that should come in the middle of that
detached seven years and end animal sacrifice instead
of "messiah prince who should come in the middle of
the last seven years of Daniel's 490 years and end
sacrifice and sin by offering himself once for all".
In the simple traditional view Jesus is pre-eminent
in Daniel, rather than one huge antichrist, and the
last three and a half years ran out three and a half years
after the crucifixion of Jesus made an end of sin and
sacrifice.
If Jesus came back from the wilderness at the
beginning of Daniel's 70th week, preached for
three and a half years--count Passovers in the
gospels--was crucified in the middle of that
70th week of seven years, then Peter preached
to the gentile Cornelius about the time that
Daniel's 70 weeks ended, and also the conversion
of Saul of Tarsus called Paul, who also immediately
went to Damascus and preached to gentiles.
Daniel said that the covenant would be confirmed
until the end of the 70th week. The second of half
of the 70th week was like the first half, as far as
miracles "confirming the covenant". Jesus is
called "Word" in the new testament, and in Isaiah
he is called the covenant,"I have given YOU for
a covenant". "Confirming the covenant", Jesus,
as being the covenant of God for the last half of
Daniel's 70th week led up to Peter and Paul's
beginning to preach Jesus as covenant of God to
the gentiles.
So rather than set up Jews and Israelis as better
than Palestinians as a dispensationalist time
warp interpretation of Daniel's 70th week does,
"confirming the covenant(Jesus)" for the remaining
half of Daniel's 70th week or three and a half years
following the crucifixion merely confirmed how
special Jews and Israelis are not, and what a
waste of time and resources it was to butt heads
with the priests at the Jerusalem temple. Three
and a half years after the crucifixion of Jesus
the apostles were released from contending with
the sappers at Jerusalem, and began to treat Jews
and Palestinians equally.

Herb Jamieson wrote:The times of persecution have begun; This article has its own misinterpretation problems...Time, Times, and Half a Time?
One of the most misunderstood and misinterpreted time periods to be found in scripture is the time, times and half a time which is mentioned in Daniel and Revelation: Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.Dan 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. The word time in this context refers to a period of a year. In the story of King Nebuchadnezzar, because of his pride, he went crazy for seven years and ate grass as an ox-Dan 4:32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.So on a literal level, time, times and half a time means time (1 year), times (2 years) and half a time (1/2 year) or 3 1/2 years. Most people who study Bible prophecy stop at this point and accept the 3 1/2 years only at face value. The period that this is generally attributed to by most people, is the last half of the 70th week of Daniel and the reign of the AntiChrist, which is proposed to be fulfilled at some time in the future.A Day Equals One YearThe 70 week prophecy of Daniel 9:24, however, establishes a principle related to prophetic time that few completely understand. Virtually everyone acknowledges that the 70 weeks are not literally 70 weeks, but rather 70 weeks of years, or 490 years. The principle is that in Bible prophecy, you must substitute a period of a year in place of a day. This is the day=year principle. This equation is clearly established in scripture-Num 14:34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. In this verse, a relationship between day and year is clear, each day will equate to a literal year. For the forty days that Israel spied in Canaan in unbelief, they would be punished by wandering forty years in the desert.Ezek 4:6 And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year. Here again, the equation is stated quite openly, a prophetic day represents a literal year. So to return to the 70 weeks of Daniel, you must first determine the number of days represented. Seventy weeks is 70 x 7 or 490 days, which will then equate to a literal 490 years in the fulfillment of the prophecy.
