Well folks, you're now observing the programmed, positive stupidity that makes it
impossible for the modern military to achieve victory. The guys who won WWII are now
dead and gone. I knew a guy who personally repaired shot up planes in the Pacific
Theater by using concrete to close up the holes. As soon as the concrete dried, the
planes went back into the air. I doubt if the Pentagon weenies even knew what was
happening, but then if they had, the policy then was much more inclined to appreciate
success than to ask for another report in triplicate. Our fighting men didn't have to
wait to see if some general could decide if a procedure would advance his career or
not ruffle the feathers of a general who might be on a board he needed approval from.

Everyone needs to realize that the health, comfort and safety of our fighting men
means absolutely nothing to the higher ups in our military structure. Billy Mitchell
has been dead for many years, and no one will yet tell me why Capt Eddie Rickenbacher
was never promoted beyond that rank. He was Air Force not Navy. So don't ever be
concerned with the mission or the welfare of the men. Just be sure that the proper
behinds receive the proper attention. That is the secret to rank and success. Prudy
