The difference may be that the Order of St John (SMOM) and the wider Roman Catholic church hid the fugitive Nazis (and pro-Nazi Croatian Ustashi) in New Zealand and I think Australia, but it was an existing USA Nazi business & politics network, with only minority RC representation, hid the fugitives in the USA. Hence, in New Zealand, the ex-Nazi fugitives were set to work covertly attacking people the St John/RC church didn't like, which included the Jews and also some non-Jews like my own family. In the USA I presume they were set to work doing other things. Around the mid-seventies the bully-masters must have started running out of ex- Nazis to do crimes for them, because the manpower for the covert attacks switched to (largely) Asian would-be migrants. At first it was from Macau/Hong Kong and later it drew in South Koreans, and others.
