stoptheftaa.org now offers an online petition, entitled: "Preserve Our Borders: Say NO to AMNESTY and the FTAA!" Proponents of the FTAA fear that discussion of the immigration consequences of the FTAA may derail it altogether. Since there is overwhelming public opposition to all forms of amnesty, we have a golden opportunity to link the two issues and transfer some of that opposition to the FTAA itself.
Supporting statements included in the on-line petition make clear that both amnesty and the FTAA threaten our borders. Please read and e-mail this petition to your representative and two senators.
