Some day y'all might want to send a REAL missionary into deepest, darkest
Vancouver. What I was suggesting recently to City Council was that we
construct a proper and sanitary camp-site in the one square mile of forest
which constitutes Stanley Park. There is already a nucleus of the Stanley
Park Tribe consisting of some 100 makeshift tents here and there in the
rain forest. The MHR Regimen swells the numbers of the homeless every day.
We could easily attract as many of the perhaps 300,000 homeless Canadians
as we want to deepest, darkest Vancouver. You know, "Send us your tired,
your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...." and all that.
We could then "decant" the people from Stanley Park to future winter
cities in the north of BC. Consider the University City project of SFU and
University Town at UBC. What would a winter future city designed by the
missionaries of TWU be like? Would it be any different? Any better?
What if all the "christian" universities in U-S-A worked on designing it?
What would it be like?
