Biomechanics deals with the bonding of living human tissue and machinery,
ie the development of cyborgs. Neurochips bond the nervous system with
machinery and have a well-established proven start, albeit on a modest
scale.
The continuum of 100% natural human to 100% mechanical applies to humanoid
robotic development over this century. At what point(s) on this continuum
would UDHR Article 4 which proscribes slavery and servitude be reached?
Or Article 8 of the Interntional Covenant on Civil and Political Rights
which proscribes forced or compulsory labour?

Article 1 of the UDHR says all HUMAN BEINGS are born free and equal in
dignity and rights. The new developments in biomechanics, robotics etc.
cause us to ask for a definition of "human being". Does UNHCHR have one?
