Dear J Bond:
Let me gander a guess at what happened with the Iranian arrest of the UK
navy men on small boats inside Iranian waters.
The navy men were actually watching the Iraqi waterway (the only access
Iraq has to the sea). For what? For small but sea-going ships which can
carry WMDs across the oceans. It takes a ship smaller than 100 ft. these
days to cross the ocean. Knowing that such a small Iraqi ship could use
Iranian waters, the UK navy had to also go into Iranian waters.
Now, how long will it be before such small ships carrying A-bombs will
find their way to New York? Maybe even mini-subs carrying Lebed bombs!
Maybe even Iranian ships with Iraqi-markings.
