Chuck Easttom also does some pro bono teaching online., eg
<http://www.geocities.com/~chuckeasttom/vb/Vb.htm>. Now what if Microsoft
were to become generous and give the general public the ability to use VS
DOT NET with all of its associated computer languages? It looks like there
is a start on this at <http://www.care-t.com> with claims of 12-47x
increased speed of program development and 7% of the mistakes of a typical
programmer.

We read at <http://www.tomshardware.com/hardnews/20040607_140114.html>
that "...developers no longer write code but rather define a model and
relations ... and have the software write the program with the push of a
button". It must have been obvious to anyone with half a brain all along
that this could be done and that it took a "geek conspiracy" to keep the
fire of code writing from mortals. (Hopefully flocks of nerd buzzards will
not descend on the OlivaNova developers and rip their livers out).

The fun begins once the programming community accepts OlivaNova types of
programs as the norm and accepts that programmers are obsolete. Then we
can expect to see the natural language menus evolve into a full-fledged
NLP so the public will be able to talk to OCW-bot at MIT and get answers
to questions in its 2,000 subjects.

After all, those NL menus are just access to one subject which could be
taught by OCW, ie a limited range in code writing. Other NL menus could
give access to other subjects. And eventually that will evolve into R4P
(Robot for President).
