While I don't dispute some of his political conspiracy theory, when it comes to understanding the true nature of the counterculture, Lyndon LaRouche is pure disinfo. While Ken Kesey was involved in MK-ULTRA experiments in Palo Alto, and helped create the Grateful Dead as a soundtrack to his "Trips Festivals," and the Dead did evolve into a worldwide LSD delivery system (most of which was manufactured by a chemist called Owsley.), these people were not being run by anyone's mind control project. At the time the CIA was interested in capturing a monopoly on LSD production and may have been playing the situation behind the scenes for its own profits. But I do not believe Kesey or the Dead had any idea at the time what was going on--or that LSD was being secretly promoted in some quarters to keep the youth zonked and away from marijuana, the true sacrament of the counterculture as well as the true Christian sacrament as revealed by the Dead Sea Scrolls. The most advanced psychedelic chemist in the USA is Shulgin, who has been a member of Bohemian Grove as long as Henry Kissinger. Shulgin is a very smart guy. Bob Weir, on the other hand, is no intellectual giant, just a rock star with a lot of money. The name of the band did not come about because of ties to Skull and Bones, there are none. Which is not to say the San Francisco acid rock scene was not penetrated by spooks and such. The Process Church, for example, would probably represent British intelligence in that scene. And let's not forget Paul Kantor, a founder of the Jefferson Airplane, who is close friends with Michael Aquino. LaRouche will try and tell you marijuana is evil and the counterculture is an intel op. In truth, marijuana is wholesome compared to legal drugs and the counterculture is a peaceful alternative to the war cult that secretly runs the world. Rock'n'roll is an expression of real culture---not a project created by British intel (they wish!).
