READER: Internet is a tough cookie. The govt can't shut it down because:
1) Businesses are too dependent on it
2) They can't openly censor it or the local population might get angry
3) They can't covertly censor it too much or the image of America as a free society may be affected worldwide, even more.
4) It is an invaluable tool to spy on public. Must not lose that.So how is PNAC going to achive their objective? Obviously, the only way they can do that is if they had full support of the public to shut any website down or declare any user a terrorist or supporter of the terrorists, thereby eliminating whatever or whoever they wanted on the internet.
How can the govt get this authority?
By blaming the next big terror attack on terrorists coordinating the attack using the internet.
... And the worst part is, that the stage is being set for this already
