The context is that Westman is insisting that the plane would
have to bank and turn on final approach but that is absurd since
it was flying in a line straight up Columbia Pike into the Pentagon,
as seen by all. Another false meme non sequitur folds for Westman.
Westman used to say the Boeing banked steeply and landed at
Reagan National, until I and Steve Wingate, a pilot, insisted
that a jumbo flying at treetop height, then banking sharply,
would slip air, lose lift, crash.
Then Westman cooked up a gradual turn to the left in place of
impossible turn to the right, a circular flight to avoid the steep
banking turn, misusing the 14th St Bridge witnesses who
had seen the plane cross the river much earlier, when it passed
near the Pentagon BEFORE circling over White House, Capitol,
Georgetown, CIA in Virginia, finally coming up Columbia Pike,
flying straight into the Pentagon. He's got those earlier witnesses
transplanted to after the crash, so his scenario fails for that reason,
not at all because of "saying east but meant west", today's false
meme which is a muddy way of admitting he said it was west
when it's east, on maps, said west when he meant.."west"...
today he said he "meant west"...without apology. Devious.
His steep banked turn into Reagan National airport folded on physics,
his abuse of witnesses by saying the bridge is west when it's east folded
due to maps, now his attempted reversal of responsibility for a steep
banked turn defying physics has returned to him like a boomerang.

turn was much earlier in the day, as the plane counted coup over
Capitol and White House, then continued, maneuvering less dramatically
than the initially steep banked turn, unspectacularly passing near CIA HQ.
Placing the banked turn at the end point of the circle instead of much
earlier at the beginning of the circle(when the plane arrived in the
vicinity of the Pentagon the first time, then crossed the river and
made the big circle over Capitol, White House, Georgetown, crossed
river again going south into Virginia near CIA HQ, circled south of
Rosslyn and flew straight up Columbia Pike into Pentagon west wall),
is disingenuous. The banked turn happened earlier, the final approach
was straight up Columbia Pike as seen by two women(one in house
below Courthouse Road along Columbia Pike, one in apartment on
ridgeline), a third woman in the Sheraton Hotel, many VDOT workers
seeing the Boeing pass overhead on the side of Columbia Pike
opposite Navy Annex(many, forget your one), then two on TV that
morning said they saw the silver AA Boeing 757 fly into the west
wall of the Pentagon. No banked turn on final approach.
Straight up Columbia Pike over VDOT traffic observation people, a number
of them, on the side of the street opposite the Navy Annex. No turn needed.
Look at the downed lamp posts in order to determine how close to "over
the Annex" the straight path of the plane actually was.
The two witnesses on that morning's local channel 9 CBS news saw the
Boeing crash into the Pentagon, one saw the Boeing clip the posts, the
other saw the small following plane veer off, not crash. You're done.
