Dear Mr. Hogg:
The child labour laws in BC are the most unfriendly to children in North
America since 12 year olds are deemed employable.
We heard on CBC last night that women are herded into harems at Bountyful,
BC to become mormon breeding machines in violation of the law and your
government does not act to enforce the laws against sexual abuse.
If a 12 year old should run away from the psychological abuse which your
government supports at Bountyful and seek IA (Income Assistance) am I
correct that the foster parent could put the child out to work rather than
have the child draw IA? Could the foster parent FORCE the child to work
for a living?
What is the consequence if all such children in BC should refuse to work?
Do you then present 12 year olds with the same "comply or die" ultimatum
which is presented to adults receiving IA by MHR?

depth of human rights education taught domestically and globally. At Youth

educate people about real world issues to provide context to the
continuing, even growing need for rights education.
