Let the division be along COUNTY lines. Let the blue counties (henceforth called more appropriately red; what jacklass picked the colors??) form the Union of Soviet States of America (USSA) and the red counties (henceforth called blue) form the Confederation of Constitutional Republics of America (CCRA). Notice that the current Capitol -- Washington, DC -- will lie in the USSA. Let them take all the uncostitutinal departments, agencies, and bureaus that reside there with them: the activist Supreme Court and all its precidents, the Departments of Agriculture, Labor, Education, Health & Human Services, Energy, the IRS, the BATF, the EPA, the Federal Reserve Board, and OSHA, etc. etc. etc, and all the body of unconstitutional laws (like the BCRA [McCain-Feingold] and DOMA, which ammend the Constitution by other than the method it defines), the regulations, and executive orders that underlie them. Let the CCRA retain none of the current federal District and Appeals courts nor any of their precident, nor any precidents of the currebt Supreme Count. Let the CCRA adopt the body of the current Constitution and its Bill of Rights, omitting amendments like the 13th and 17th. Let the Constitution of the CCRA add an amendment that limits its Supreme Court and any inferior courts that the Confederation chooses to establish to adudicate only those issues that are explicitly enumerated as Confederation powers in the body of the Constitution, and require AUTOMATIC impeachment of any Confederation judges who stray from the reservation. Let the states and the people regain their just powers as specified by the ninth and tenth Amendments. Let there be free immigration from the USSA to the CCRA (red to blue) and from the CCRA to the USSA (blue to red) of all natural born and naturalized CITIZENS of the currebt United States who choose to do so for a lmited period -- say 20 years. Let the blue CCRA protect its borders from all other immigration under the new laws that it shall adopt and deport all others. Let those in the USSA have the socialist utopia they ernestly desire, and let the CCRA return to the government originally specifed by the Founders in their original Constitution, less its parts that are irrelevant tody, like the provision on how to count slaves, all of whom will reside in the USSA. ------------------------ Yahoo!
