-Caveat Lector- Monday April 26, 1:03 PM (EST) Shooting may have lasted a few minutes LITTLETON, April 26 (UPI S) _ A Jefferson County sheriff's spokesman says (Monday) the Columbine High School gunmen may have fired their weapons for a matter of only a ``few minutes'' during their deadly assault last Tuesday. Sgt. Steve Davis told reporters that gunfire by a deputy on duty in the school and police who arrived soon after the first 911 call could have cut short the attack and avoided ``major, major catastrophies.''
