info. but it does get a bit overwhelming with too many posts. I would like
to get maybe 1/2 of the mail I do on this listserver.

I find myself deleting most of it. I just don't have the time to read so
much, and unfortunately because there is no limit on the posts, I just can't
read it all in one or two days and therefore probably miss some good info.
due to the huge amount of mail I must delete! Alot of us are on other
listservers besides this one, and would like to have time for that too.

Maybe some of the posters would consider this and keep their posts to less
than 4 a day? It would at least give more of us an opportunity to have the
time to read it all. I have a life outside this computer...or at least
 trying to! LOL

 What do you all think?

Actually there is a limit on posts. Each poster has a limit of 7 posts per
day and the list is limited to 100 posts per day total. This excludes
editors, of course. I may be guilty at times of keeping threads alive that
are nothing but drivel as a previous commentator has said but I do so only
because I think I have a valid point to make. I may, of course, be wrong. I
think it is essential that free flow of ideas be kept as a basic tenet of
this list. However, we are an information and exchange list, and we should
try to bring information, i.e., data, and facts to our posts in order to give
everyone a base to start at. I will try to do better in this regard myself.
I don't, however, think there is a conspiracy, as such, here. It is group
dynamics and the facts of life more so than anything else, people come and go
and they have their pet ideas and such. This can be both good and bad
depending on your point of view.
