The police obviously caused more students to be killed or wounded by
their inaction (waiting and not storming the school as soon as they arrived),
but was it cowardice or following the party line? Is the police chief of
Littleton an antigun supporter? Who does he take his orders from ... the
Mayor, or the White House? Is the Federal government gaining this much
control over counties and even small towns? Is this micro-management
extraordinaire?
Strange how Clinton was ready to use an incident like this to further
his gun-grabbing agenda.
Remember that the shooter in Pearl high school in Kentucky was
apprehended and stopped from further killing by the assistant principal of
the school. Had he been allowed to carry a gun in the school it may have
been stopped sooner. He had to run to his vehicle a quarter of a mile away
to get his weapon and hold the shooter till police arrived (about five
minutes later). Maybe if a teacher had been armed in Columbine high school
the "trenchcoats" may have been stopped before so many were killed and
wounded.
Now the concealed carry bill in the Colorado legislature is on hold.
Now Clinton is pushing for more arms control in the US while starting a
war across the Atlantic. Is this some sort of ironic twist.
Sometimes I feel I'm living in the twilight zone. Does anyone else see
this?
