Subject: "People of the Secret" brings 23 (!) pages at Alta Vista

Mind control, implanted symbolism, "saucers" that really aren't. . .

There's lots of "information" floating around, but it's not always
easy to know what to make of it. Few really "different" (but
plausible) new slants, and most of the old ones are surely at least
somewhat defective.

I read this book a few years ago, by Ernest Scott (like that's not a
"masonic" pseudonym, eh?) and it offered some different and
interesting angles on some of the usual conspiracy topics. It also
offered a few new topics -- or things I hadn't thought might be a
"topic." Tonight, I tried to find out more about Scott's book. . .

Is it synchronicity, or what. My search on "People of the Secret"
turned up -- ready for this? -- twenty-three (23) pages at Alta Vista.

I was hoping for a good review, being too lazy to write one myself
(besides, I gave my copy away two years ago)
Sadly, I didn't find a much a review,

but I found a little here: http://www.clearlight.com/~sufi/pese2.htm

People of the Secret:
by Ernest Scott

"The suggestion that both biological evolution and human history have
been directed by a hierarchy of Intelligences, the lowest level of
which makes physical contact with mankind, is one found in both sacred
and profane cultures.

It is generally assumed that this process and its Agents are screened
from human eyes. This book suggests otherwise."

and something here: http://www.ishkbooks.com/bookservice2.html

"Are biological evolution and human history directed by a hierarchy of
Intelligences, the lowest level of which makes physical contact with
mankind? Do invisible guardians of this planet "seed" ideas into the
earth's cultures to prepare human beings for huge steps in their
development? The author suggests not only that it may be so, but that
it may also be possible to recognize these "People of the Secret." "

And what interesting new ideas did I find in this book? Here's one:
I remember the author mentioned that science fiction publishers have
claimed that quite often totally "new" ideas for stories would be
submitted from more than one author, around the same time.

Someone sells this for $8 paperback and I'm going to order it again.
You ought to be able to get it through your local library (or inter
library loan) for free.
