-Caveat Lector- Maj. Ed Dames, considered to be a disinformationalist by some, claimed on Art Bell's Coast to Coast radio program Tuesday night that some of the contrails were being created for 'defensive purposes' in order to protect the United States from an attack. He was referring specifically to the contrails that release a sticky, spiderweb-like substance. According to others, including William Thomas, author of "Bringing the War Home", the spiderweb-like substance is caused by the spraying nozzels malfunctioning and dropping liquid chemicals instead of creating a mist. Thomas will be a guest on Bell's program Thursday night.
