Most people would say that it is Karl Marx. Some might declare that it was V.I. Lenin; others, Josef Stalin; and still others might attribute that dubious distinction to Mao or even Fidel Castro, since they are the best known communists in the world. However, any of those names would be wrong. Granted, Karl Marx is the name associated with creating the modern political philosophy known as communism, but ideologies seldom become political movements, and even less often, lasting political systems. The father of the modern socialist state is none other than John D. Rockefeller, Senior--the founder of Standard Oil Company. John D, age 40 John D, age 90. Most people view communism and capitalism as opposite ends of the same political pole, and for that reason, are prone to raise their eyebrows whenever someone suggests that the world's most influential bankers and industrialists (the movers and shakers of the free enterprise system) are the shapers of the communist state. Before sharing with you how Rockefeller earned the nefarious title of father of the modern socialist state, it is important to show you the distinction between capitalism and communism. Communism is a political system. Like democracy. Capitalism is not a political system--it is the basis of all economic systems. Democracy as we know it is a capitalistic economic system. Surprisingly, so is communism. All political systems are capitalistic. The difference between socialist capitalism and democratic capitalism is the socialist version is state-controlled and the democratic version is usually based on free enterprise. In 1934 Franklin D. Roosevelt, the political puppet of the bankers and industrialists who elected him, attempted to convert the free enterprise economic system of the United States into a controlled economy. The pattern he followed was precisely the same as that utilized by both Adolph Hitler in 1934 and Benito Mussolini in 1924. Today, what Roosevelt and later, Lyndon B. Johnson, failed to achieve in controlling business and industry, Bill Clinton is achieving through executive orders and unlegislated bureaucratic regulations. The bureaucracy, which is itself unconstitutional, was created by Roosevelt's New Deal laws that turned the free-enterprise economy of the United States into the planned economy of socialism. The intrusive federal regulations that hamstring most businesses today are the result of Roosevelt's attempt to create a socialist America. The only thing that stopped FDR from total success was the Constitution of the United States--and the 2nd Amendment. America, collectively, was still stronger than its government in 1934-44. Today, that is no longer the case. The Rockefeller Connection In the fall of 1859 a man named Edwin Drake sunk the first oil well near Titusville, Pennsylvania. The boom he started equaled the California gold rush ten years earlier. Drake, recognized as the pioneer of the petroleum industry, immediately formed the Seneca Oil Company. DRAKE FIRST OIL WELL Within months of Drake's sinking his first well, the hills around Titusville were suddenly full of oil derricks, and oil flowed like water. A new form of wealth had just been created. Oil. Black gold. Fortune seekers from all over the country arrived in Titusville and began leasing acreage from every farmer in the county. At that time, oil had not been discovered anywhere else in the country, and it was believed by many that Pennsylvania was the only place in the world where black wealth could be obtained. At the time of the Blake feat, John D. Rockefeller was a young man struggling to make his mark in a Cleveland. Rockefeller at the time was the junior partner in a produce warehouse. He learned of the oil gusher in Titusville from the former boss of one of his partners. Rockefeller wasn't as excited about oil as John Hussey, the man who brought the news back to Cleveland. But, by 1862 Hussey had convinced a Rockefeller associate, Sam Andrews, that there was an illumination value in kerosene. Andrews convinced Rockefeller. Together with Maurice Clark, Andrews and Rockefeller formed a company to refine oil. The company, Andrews, Clark & Company did not even contain the name of its junior partner. But by 1863 John D. Rockefeller was squarely in the middle of the oil business. Within two decades he would own it. The Civil War spawned the universal need, and acceptance of kerosene for illumination. Rockefeller, like many others during that era, was in the right place at the right time. Soon the other two lamp illumination sources, whale oil and camphene (a turpentine byproduct), were discarded, and the demand for the bright illumination of kerosene was in demand all over the world. In 1865 Rockefeller and Andrews (Clark had been bought out) opened a second refinery, called the Standard Company. However, as much demand as there now was--and it was a rapidly increasing demand--for kerosene from crude oil, the bottom suddenly fell out of the oil market. The reason? There were suddenly too many Pennsylvania oil wells pumping crude. Every new gusher sent the price of crude spiraling downward. Rockefeller was quick to realize that the reason for the erratic price of crude was due entirely to the law of supply and demand. When there is too much oil, the price drops. Suddenly it cost more to ship oil to a refinery than it sold for on the open market. Oil drillers were going bankrupt all over Pennsylvania as the demand for crude oil increased. To stabilize the price of kerosene, Rockefeller and his partners began to buy up refineries, limiting production on that end. Agents for the Standard Company visited the oil fields and tried to encourage the drillers to restrain their own production of crude in order to buoy the prices. Greedily, they refused. In order to curtail the drillers, Rockefeller cornered the barrel stave market (since at that time, oil was shipped from the oil fields to the refineries in barrels). Borrowing money from every banker he could find, Rockefeller continued buying out refiners until finally, 90% of the oil that was refined in America was refined by the Standard Company. During those years, most of the oil refining was done in cities along the Ohio or Cuyahoga Rivers, from Pittsburgh to Cleveland. Oil moved on the river in barrels. Rockefeller then began buying the barges that moved the oil, thereby controlling how much oil could actually get to market, thereby artificially stablizing the prices. But Rockefeller's ongoing problem was with the drillers themselves who simply refused to control production. When Rockefeller gain control of the rivers, the oil drillers and the independent refiners went to the railroads, who were desperately seeking freighting contracts. To escape the clutches of Standard, oil began to move by rail. Rockefeller then negotiated massive contract deals with railroad tycoons like William Vanderbilt and Jay Gould. Massive rebates, based on a volume of business promised by Standard, were granted by the railroads. Half of the discounts were kicked back to the railroad chiefs in the form of bribes. Because Rockefeller had all but cornered the refining business, and now controlled the transporting of crude oil, one by one the oil producers were forced to do business exclusively with him or face bankruptcy when their oil could not get to a refinery. When the oil producers financed a pipeline to carry their crude oil to "friendly" refiners who could not be intimidated by Rockefeller, Rockefeller agents constructed their own pipelines and, to bankrupt the competing pipe- lines, transmitted oil to their own refineries at less than cost. By 1873 Rockefeller controlled virtually all oil production and refining in the United States and was shipping kerosene all over the world. Rockefeller was convinced that free competition was the antithesis of business, and that competition itself was the cause of the fluctuating business cycles that destroyed profit. He was an ardent supporter of the views of Karl Marx, believing that industrial planning was needed to manage the economy of America, which he felt was being ruined by free-wheeling entrepreneurs. Success, Rockefeller believed, could only be achieved if competition was stymied. In Rockefeller's mind, those who wished to compete with him for a share of the oil market were selfish sharpsters who would destroy the economy. He was, in his own mind, the exemplary capitalist who was going to rescue mankind from itself by dictating how and when man could compete in the marketplace. But Rockefeller, who almost single-handedly created the world's oil market, created his own competition. Standard Oil controlled virtually 100% of the world's oil market until 1875. In 1873 Robert Nobel, a member of the famous Swedish munitions family was visiting Russia. Nobel, who went to Russia to buy walnut for use as rifle stocks, was there when oil was discovered at Baku. Thinking of the success of Rockefeller in America, Nobel took the 25,000 rubles he was supposed to use to buy walnut and bought an oil refinery instead. The Nobel brothers began producing as good a grade of kerosene as Standard Oil--selling it much more economically than the kerosene shipped to Europe from America. In 1879 Nobel Brothers Petroleum was formed. Within a year, the Nobels had a pipeline from the Baku oil fields to the Caspian Sea. Suddenly discovering he was losing his European market for kerosene, Rockefeller sent his agents to Russia to learn what was going on. His agents reported back that they estimated that within another year the Nobel Brothers would have a pipeline from the Caspian to the Black Sea, and that Standard would not be able to compete in Europe. Between 1875 and 1880, Rockefeller tried to buy out Nobel Petroleum, and then tried to buy into it with no avail. The Nobels were not interested in either forming a partnership with Rockefeller, nor were they interested in selling out. And due to massive loans granted to Tsar Nicholas by the Nobels and from Baron Alphonse de Rothschild (who was financially linked with the Nobel Brothers in building a railroad from the Baku oil fields to the Caspian Sea), the Russian government would not entertain any proposition from Rockefeller, effectively blocking him from profiting from the massive amount of oil flowing from Baku. Rockefeller never forgave the Tsar, and in 1917, he gained his revenge when the Rockefeller financed Bolshevik Revolution brought down the Romanoff government and resulted in the death of the Tsar, his wife and family. In the meantime, in 1884, Dutch oil speculators struck oil in Sumatra and the Royal Dutch Oil Company was formed six years later, backed by Rothschild. Royal Dutch, by way of the Suez Canal, shipped their kerosene to Asia, cutting shipping Standard Oil's shipping time from four months to one--and taking that market from Rocke- feller. By 1892 oil was discovered in Burma and Java. Marcus Samuel, an agent for Royal Dutch, formed his own oil company, naming it Shell Transport and Trading Co. after his family's seashell business. By the late 1890s Russia was producing more oil than the United States, and Rockefeller tried to get into the Russian oil business again, convincing the Nobels and Rothschild that if they didn't align themselves against the newcomers like Royal Dutch and Shell, they would soon be sharing the oil business with every jackleg in the world. Nobel and Rothschild agreed and a tentative deal was struck. However, Count Sergi Witte, the Russian finance minister viewed Rockefeller as a piranha who would attempt to control, and destroy the emerging Russian economy for his own personal profit, and killed the deal. Rockefeller, who believed the results were justified by any means, sent his agents to secretly meet with two little known Russian revolutionaries--V.I. Lenin and Leon Trotsky. Rockefeller and Rothschild agreed to finance Lenin's revolution to free the Russian peasants from the oligarchic rule of Tsar Nicholas in exchange for the exclusive right to the oil fields in the Russian Empire. Count Rothschild, who was now working with Standard Oil against Royal Dutch/Shell to capture their markets, also wanted the right to create a central bank in Russia --a right the Tsar would not grant him. The first attempted Bolshevik coupe occurred in 1904. It was quickly put down. Lenin was captured and exiled to Finland. Trotsky escaped, and with the help of Rockefeller, reached the United States where he remained until 1917. World War and the League of Nations The utopians began planning world government shortly after the new century broke on the horizon. The power brokers of the world, led by Rockefeller and Rothschild, realized that national boundaries and national laws greatly interfered with their ability to conduct multinational commerce. The solution was simple. Eliminate those restrictions. But not quite so simple was the dilemma of how to eliminate the national boundaries and create a stateless Europe. What was needed, they realized, was a global conflict so cataclysmic that all of the nations of Europe, and perhaps the world, would be willing to surrender their sovereignty to a global governing body that could effec- tively manage and prosper each of them individually and all of them collectively. The plan developed over ten years. As the power barons kindled the fires of war early in the first decade of the 20th century, they plotted feverishly to take control of the banking system of the United States they managed to keep the cauldron of political turmoil boiling in Europe. To achieve this coupe, two things had to happen first. A national income tax, denied by the Constitution, had to be enacted (to pay for the loans granted to the United States by the central bank), and the right of the State governments to elect the U.S. Senate had to be stripped (since each previous attempt to create a permanent central bank in America owned by the international banking and industrialist families was stymied by the U.S. Senate who had to answer to the State and commun- ity banks each election year). The fraudulent ratifications of both the 16th and 17th Amendments were the results of the efforts of Roths- child, Rockefeller, Solomon Loebb, and a handful of other European banking families. Neither amendment was legally ratified, yet both were declared to be so by the Solicitor General of the United States. (In the income tax evasion trial of George & Marion House in 1985, the court and the assistant United States Attorney General agreed that both had been fraudulently ratified, but because almost 80 years had elapsed since the "crime," both amendments would stand.) In 1910 Rothschild agent J.P. Morgan approached then Princeton University president, and former New Jersey governor, Thomas Woodrow Wilson (a staunch socialist), and offered him the job of President of the United States. Because the polls taken by Morgan showed that Wilson would not take more than 45% of the vote against the very popular William Howard Taft, Morgan's agents approached Teddy Roosevelt and persuaded him he needed to run against his former vice president, since America, they told Roosevelt, wanted him back in the White House. Morgan knew Roosevelt would dilute the conserva- tive vote sufficiently that Wison would be elected. The election of 1912 is the only known election where all of the major party candidates were financed by the same person. Morgan secretly financed Wilson's campaign, since Wilson campaigned against the "big money interests" that would destroy democracy. He also secretly financed Roosevelt's campaign...not well enough for the Bull Moose candidate to win, but enough to steal a sufficient amount of votes from Taft to cause the heavyweight to lose. Then, he openly financed Taft, championing the incumbent as the friend of big business. Wilson won with 42% of the vote. Roosevelt came in second. Taft--who was viewed as a sure-winner shoo-in for re-election, garnered less than 20% of the popular vote and came in third in what should have been a two-man race that he would have won. On December 23, 1913, Wilson repaid Morgan for his trip to Pennsylvania Avenue. He signed the Federal Reserve Act into law and surrendered the currency- creating power of the United States to the international money cartel. In August of the following year, the guns of war exploded in Europe. The plan for world government was in high gear. As Wilson spent three years assuring the American people he would not involve them in a European war, he secretly negotiated with England to draw America into it. Wilson had been promised a new job at the end of the conflict. Wilson was to be the President of the world in the new global governing body: the League of Nations. Congress, however, wasn't buying. Membership in the League of Nations required the surrender of national sovereignty. When America rejected the League of Nations, the utopians headed by Rockefeller, who con- trolled the First National Bank in New York, Loebb, Kuhn, Rothschild, Vanderbilt, Mellon and others, formed what became the Council on Foreign Relations in 1920. The initial agenda of the CFR was to indoctrinate America on the merits of world government. It has been their singular purpose for 79 years. The League failed...miserably. John D. Rockefeller, Sr. would not live to see his vision of a global economy. At 4:05 a.m. on May 23, 1937 the man who singlehandedly created the oil industry, and one of those who engineered World War I, suffered a heart attack and died in his sleep. Rockefeller's concept of industrial planning would not appear on the American landscape until 1934 when FDR initiated the plans that Rockefeller wanted Congress to legislate in the last two decades of the 19th century. Even before cannons of war sounded the start of World War II, FDR and Winston Churchill put together the framework of the United Nations on the ashes of the failed League of Nations. The UN, planned in 1940, would become the world's legislature at the conclusion of the world war that would not begin for over a year. The socialist utopians in the CFR knew from past experience that the American people would not willingly buy the socialism promised by the League of Nations, nor would they accept a world governing body in Brussels. The UN was to be disguised as a democratic organization, with is legislative buildings located in New York so that Americans would view it as an "American institution," when in fact, its bylaws would reek of the same form of communism that American very quickly grew to hate at the end of World War II. Now, in the concluding days of the 20th century, we are led to believe that government needs to play a bigger role in industrial planning, that socialism is the best form of government, and that the multinational bankers and industrialists need to have a borderless community in which to properly utilize the global pool of human capital to assure that the global economy of 21st century properly feeds their shareholders and guarantees their profits. Today the dream of the father of contemporary socialism, John D. Rockefeller's planned economy, is about to become a reality. Tomorrow, as we cross Bill Clinton's toll bridge into the 21st century, the utopian dream of John D. RockefellerSr. will become reality and the global bankers and industrialists will realize their utopian vision. Peace, prosperity, world government and Armageddon await us. ----- Aloha, He'Ping, Om, Shalom, Salaam. Em Hotep, Peace Be, Omnia Bona Bonis, All My Relations. Adieu, Adios, Aloha. Amen.
