# The CIA's UFO Secret. Secrets on the ground, secrets in the skies - CIA
has had plenty of both. Now a declassified CIA report adds detail to the
recent revelation that the government lied about early UFO reports in order
to conceal overhead reconnaissance operations. Was the U-2 spy plane the
CIA's real UFO secret? http://www.parascope.com/ds/articles/ufoSecret.htm

: Is this further disinformation? How many layers of lies and coverups are
there? When do you reach the core of truth? How can you tell? Is truth real?

*** Makah Indians celebrate whale hunt. NEAH BAY Wash (AP) The ancient taste
of tradition came back to the Makah Indians on a chilly Pacific beach - the
nutty, salty taste of whale blubber, freshly butchered from the corpse of a
female gray whale. Hundreds of Indians gathered in a cold drizzle as the 1st
whale landed by the tribe in more than 70 years was brought ashore by the US
Coast Guard-protected whaling crew, culminating months of preparation and
controversy. Environmentalists decried the killing, accomplished by a combi-
nation of the traditional - the cedar canoe, its hand-carved paddles and the
whalers' ritual prayers - and the modern, including .50-caliber rifles and
motorized boats. www.infobeat.com/stories/cgi/story.cgi?id=2559590824-761

Energy Secretary Bill Richardson said. The Dept. of Energy and the Fish and
Wildlife Service will create "Rock Creek Reserve," a protected area of tall
grass prairie and wetlands at the nuclear waste cleanup site about 15 miles
NW of downtown Denver. The reserve, in a 6,000-acre "buffer zone" around the
core of the site, is home to several rare species, including the threatened
Preble's meadow jumping mouse, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, Eastern
short-horned lizards and Eastern burrowing owls. Smokey the Bear isn't
