this post reminded me of something that happened some years back, the day
before wallace was shot, cbs did a scathing news report showing wallace in
the worse possible light imaginable, which was not hard because they had
so much nasty material about him anyway. the long and short of it was that
he was shot the next day. i always felt that this cbs report was connected
to it. previous to seeing the cbs report i had neither seen nor heard
anything in the media about him.
