Der Fuhrer Invades Yugoslavia

War of the Hooligans: Thugs of the World Unite!

Clinton and Milosevic both claim victory

by Bob Djurdjevic

PHOENIX, June 10 - The guns of war fell silent today. For now. NATO's
bombs are no longer killing the Yugoslav people and the alliance's
credibility. For now.
So why is the heart heavy? Why does the soul not feel like rejoicing?

Because this has been a war of the hooligans; a war on innocent
civilians - Serbs, Albanians, Gypsies, even on farm and zoo animals.
Which is why we say, "for now." Such wars never end unless the hooligans
are gone.

Take a look around... Is Slobodan Milosevic still in power? Is Bill
Clinton still in the White House? Is Tony Blair still the British prime
minister? Is Wesley Kanne Clark still the supreme commander of NATO? Is
Jamie Shea still the NATO mouthpiece? Is Madam Halfbright suddenly a
"full Monty?"

Yes, yes, yes, yes and no. So those are five reasons the heart is heavy
and the soul isn't rejoicing. But there are more...

Take a look at Northern Ireland's "peace process." It has evolved into a
"piss process," as Prof. J.P. Maher rightly puts it. Since the much
celebrated Good Friday agreement last year, there have been 143 bombing
incidents in Ulster, one of our Dublin sources reports.

This week alone, there have been eight bomb attacks on Catholic houses,
families or schools, one of them on an elementary school in Ballymena
(kids of age 6 to 11!). In Portadown, one 59-year old lady was killed
while watching TV at home - just because she was a Protestant married to
a Catholic!

And that's "peace?" That is why we called the Ulster "peace" also a "War
of the Hooligans" in a TiM GW Bulletin filed from Belfast last July (see
http://www.truthinmedia.org/Bulletins/tim98-7-6.html). The same thugs
who had signed their names to a truce are continuing to kill, only now
under a "peace" banner.

Count on that in Kosovo's "piss process," too. Which is why we said that
the killings in Serbia have stopped. "For now."

Meanwhile, in the wake of NATO's "humanitarian mission" in Serbia, more
than 2,000 civilians have been killed; 30% of them children; and
thousands have been maimed. As for the survivors, over 500,000 of them
are out of work, having had their places of work destroyed by NATO. More
than 800,000 Kosovo refugees (by western accounts) have been forced from
their homes - both by the NATO bombs and by the ground warfare between
the Yugoslav police and the KLA insurgents.

In the 16 Belgrade municipalities alone, 1,134 facilities had been
destroyed or damaged as of June 9, according to the City Secretariat for
Utilities and Housing Affairs. Of that number, 970 were housing
facilities, 59 were schools, 48 kindergartens and 13 state-owned
enterprises.

NATO bombs have also damaged eight cultural centers, five local medical
centers and hospitals, six private companies, four sports facilities,
four shopping centers, two religious objects and two hotels in and
around Belgrade.

Among some other cities hit by NATO, Pristina had been bombed 280 times,
Prizren 156 times and Novi Sad more than 100 times during NATO's 78-day
air campaign.

Altogether, NATO has flown over 45,000 sorties dropping bombs and
missiles whose aggregate destructive power "by far surpasses the
combined force of the atom bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in
World War II," said the Yugoslav Ambassador to Hungary, Balsa Spadijer,
opening an exhibition of photographs, "A Trail of Inhumanity," at the
Yugoslav Embassy in Budapest.

The Yugoslav ambassador said that the total damage to Serbia and
Montenegro caused by NATO's bombing exceeds $100 billion.

Yet despite all this carnage which he had helped bring about before
caving in and selling out Kosovo, Milosevic claimed "victory" today in
his speech on Serb TV. "We demonstrated our army cannot be defeated," he
said. "The territorial integrity of our country can never be questioned
again."

For now. Until the Vojvodina separatists get going, egged on and
financed by the same Hegelian Dialecticians reincarnated as globalists
who had created the KLA out of thin air, and have manufactured the
"Kosovo Crisis," claiming it to be a "humanitarian mission."

Diabolical? Yes. Perfidious? Yes. Machiavellian? Yes. Hegelian? Yes.
Does it sell? Yes. But only to the dumbed-down masses which have never
heard of Machiavelli or Hegel. On both sides...

Milosevic, the New World Order's "designated bogey," who was
indispensable for such devious schemes to work, has already turned over
to the New World Order hooligans all of Serb ancestral lands in Croatia,
and most of those in Bosnia. Over the backs of tens of thousands of dead
Serbs and over 600,000 refugees.

And now he has given them the entire Kosovo, too, while claiming to have
"defended" it. Stand by for Vojvodina next, if this Serb
Traitor-in-Chief lives to deliver another piece of Serbia to the
enemy...

Meanwhile, back in Washington, Clinton also claimed victory this
evening. For now. Before some of the new "KFOR" peacekeepers become
year-round body bag stuffers, just as had been the case with a number of
NATO pilots and the "stealth" rescue and ground troops during the 79
days of war.

Yet, in a televised speech which contained all the cliches of the "lie
and deny" PR spinners, Clinton claimed that NATO had suffered no (!)
combat casualties during the 79-day campaign. Wonder if even his Buddy
(Clinton's dog) would lap up such BS without throwing up? Guess anything
is possible in the Clinton household...

By contrast, in a 35-minute interview which aired on Nis TV5 at 7PM last
night, Gen, Nebojsa Pavkovic, commander of the Yugoslav Third Army
(which includes Kosovo - see the map at our Web site), said that the
Third Army alone had downed 33 NATO planes, 25 pilotless aircraft, five
helicopters, and 50 cruise missiles (see http://target.cent.co.yu).

Of course, generals lie, as presidents do. Just look at Gen. Clark as an
example. But if there is a single American who believed Clinton this
evening when he said that we had suffered zero combat casualties after
11 weeks of war - he/she ought to be locked up in some loony bin. So as
not to ruin the nation's IQ averages, or further wreck our already frail
legal system by being selected for jury duty.

Meanwhile, Milosevic was a perfect match for our Liar-in-Chief in his
own "victory speech," just as diabolical as Clinton's. The Serb leader
claimed that the Yugoslav Army and the special police had lost only 576
men during the fighting. That number is about a tenth of the estimates
NATO released last week, and a third of what Gen. Pavkovic had implied
in his earlier public comments.

So the birds of a feather flock together. What's a few hundred good men
here, a few hundred there...? What's a few thousand dead civilians here,
a few thousand there...? Sacrificing human lives as if they were wooden
pawns in a game of chess is obviously the game at which both neo-Marxist
hooligans excel - Komrade Hooligan Milosevic for the East Side Gang, and
Komrade Hooligan Klinton for the West Side Gang.

For, notably absent from Clinton's 10-minute speech was any concern for,
or remorse over, the thousands of innocent Serb civilians whom NATO had
killed. Instead, he promised them more hardships. Clinton also said
there would be no reconstruction aid for Serbia as long as Milosevic is
in power, just as the EU had said earlier.

So are there any silver linings to the Kosovo "peace" clouds? Yes, there
are. It is you - the millions of TiM readers in over 100 countries
around the world.

Before the NATO bombings started on Mar. 24, only a few hundred thousand
of the world's most zealous truth- and liberty-fans were reading the TiM
GW Bulletins. These TiM reports had been warning of impending threats to
our birthrights, such as truth, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

We said that Clinton, Albright, Blair or Chirac were merely fronting for
the real NWO slave-drivers - the "gray eminencies" of the Evil Empire -
the "death merchants" and other industrialists which profit from the
"perpetual commerce through perpetual war" philosophy. For a few extra
cents per share, these monsters did not hesitate to have their
Washington proxies kill a few thousand extra human beings.

Some income statements... Some balance sheets... Some "humans"...

Meanwhile, the TiM trenches of truth and liberty defenders are now
filled with millions of additional patriots from all over these United
States and the world. That's hardly on a par of the "victory" the
comrades are claiming. But it may be "one small step for man; one giant
leap for (free) mankind."

Gold Market

Gold Falls to 20 Year Low

$240/ounce next?

The gold bullion price moved below $260 an ounce yesterday, the latest
slide in a month-long fall triggered by a decision by the UK to sell
more than half its gold reserves.

The prices set in the morning and afternoon fixes in London of $258.35
and $258.60 were below $260 for the first time in 20 years.

Since the UK announced its decision on May 7 the bullion price has
dropped by 10 per cent, falling from $287.95 on May 6 to $258.6 an ounce
yesterday afternoon.

Prices of gold mining shares have dropped by over a quarter on average.

China announced yesterday that it had cut its official gold price twice
this year to bring it into line with world prices. Analysts said this
was a routine attempt to prevent the smuggling which starts whenever its
official price is out of line.

The UK plans to hold its first auction of 25 tonnes of gold on July 6
this year. Most analysts are expecting the price to stay weak in the
run-up.

Paul Walker, a director of independent analysts Gold Fields Mineral
Services, said: "There is not a great deal out there that we can be
optimistic about.

"So in the immediate future we are expecting the price to languish or go
lower. I would not be surprised if it touched $240 an ounce."

Brian Marber, a technical analyst, said that although the gold price
looks oversold, trends are still pointing down. Rumours have swept the
market that sales by other central banks are depressing prices. The
Danish and Greek central banks yesterday denied they had been selling.
In Johannesburg a small gold miner, East Rand Proprietary Mines, said
the low gold price and operational problems could affect its viability.

Analysts reckon that substantial hedging programmes should mean that the
larger mining groups are shielded against the falling price for the time
being, but that some of the other small companies could have problems.

The overall FTSE Gold Mines Index is down 27 per cent in US dollar
terms, the Africa sub-index by 23 per cent, the North America sub-index
by 29 per cent and the Australasia sub-index by 24 per cent.

The UK holds 715 tonnes of gold, worth $6.6bn before the Treasury
announcement. Its market value has fallen by around $660m since.

Okay. We're Prepared. What do we do now?

Preparations for Martial Law

From: Tim May
Newsgroups: comp.software.year-2000, misc.survivalism
Subject: Martial Law rumors, and one gun store owner
I was in looking at assault rifles today at one of my local gun stores
(looking at an FAL parts gun, comparing it the HK91 parts/clone gun I
bought a week ago). I got to talking to the owner, and Y2K came up.

His store is in an area with several DOD installations and he has many
customers who are either active military or retired military. And some
CIA spooks. I once met one of the CIA spooks in the store....we had been
jawboning about which of the 50 BMG rifles was best, the Barrett or one
of the several others, for ultra-long-range sniping. Then the store
owner casually mentioned that "Fred" had been in the CIA. Out on a
medical disability, and living in the Monterey area.

(The area is in the Monterey-Pacific Grove-Carmel area. The DOD
installations include: The Naval Postgraduate School, the Fort Ord base
(now being closed), the Defense Language Institute, and some Navy
undersea warfare think tanks. Also, some CIA-affiliated think tanks
(suspected: Monterey Institute for International Studies). CIA spooks
visit the area, and his store, for various reasons. I surmise that he
supplies some of the folks down at Camp Roberts and Camp Hunter Liggett.
Viewers of some Tom Clancy movies will recognize this is where snipers
and special forces get training.)

Here's the bombshell: He told me that "more than one" of his best
longterm customers, with affiliations to these aforementioned groups,
have told him of a plan for a "quick response" imposition of martial
law. "72 hours." The date he heard from some of them was December 1st.
To disburse the troops and have martial law in place in 72 hours. By
December 4th, in other words.

The idea for the timing, presumably, being that it will be clear by then
just how many nations, companies, and agencies are not going to be
ready. And enough time for the soldiers to integrate with the rail and
utility distributions, perhaps for ration coupon books to be printed and
available by January 1st, etc. All those things the Naval War College
seminars were running scenarios about. (Links between Naval Postgraduate
School and Naval War College? Presumably. Whether they are significant
links is for researchers out there to look into. Would be interesting to
see if NPS folks were at the NWC seminars, and vice versa. And I'm not
saying Monterey and the NPS is somehow the epicenter of martial law
planning for Y2K...the actual centers are presumably in or near
Washington, D.C. But links are still interesting.)

He didn't say his sources _knew_ that martial law was going to be
implemented, but that the sources had seen plans for possible
implementation. Now this could just be the usual rumor mill process. But
to lend some plausibility to this tidbit, this area is a hotbed of
certain kinds of counterinsurgency warfare (Fort Ord had been a major
center of this, now moved up to Washington State somewhere--Fort Lewis,
I think. But many of the staffers remained or retired in the
Monterey-Carmel-Pebble Beach area, and they hear things. And the think
tanks are where such plans are often formulated and "gamed."

Monterey, perhaps not coincidentally, was one of the sights for that
recent "urban assault" exercise which got so much attention a couple of
months ago. (Soldiers rolling down the city streets in Bradley Fighting
Vehicles, being mock-fought by urban guerillas who looked suspicially
like militia members defending their communtiies. Coincidence? The
planners are here. The exercise was here.)

This guy, owning one of the main gun stores in the whole area, comes
into contact with a lot of them.

Take it as you will.

By the way, this guy had some experiences to tell of past civil
disturbances. He was a young gun store clerk in Stockton, CA when the
1967 Watts riots in L.A. erupted. Pockets of rioting had also appeared
in other cities, including Stockton, in the Central Valley. (Stockton
now has a serious gang problem, and many murders each year.) The local
cops lent him a Thompson submachine gun! My, how things have changed. He
knew how to use one, for various reasons. He never had to use it, but he
slept in the store with that Thompson nearby. A couple of years later,
in some other riots, the cops lent him a BAR.

(It used to be common, by the way, for police departments to have one or
more old Thompsons sitting in storage lockers, for special uses. Now, of
course, they are likely to be AR-15-pattern rifles or carbines, or H & K
MP5s. The usual S.W.A.T. gear. And they no longer lend these things out
to gun store owners!)

Fast forwarding to today, he anticipates there could be serious riots,
even without Y2K bugs being as bad as some expect. "These clowns are
just itching to live out their fantasyland lives."

He isn't sure yet what his strategy will be to defend his store this
time around, but he _is_ glad he has a place in the nearby mountains
with a running water stream through the land, a woodstove with a couple
of cords of wood, his various rifles, and a bunch of friends in the
ranching country of Steinbeck Country who he will join forces with.

Anyway, I thought these were interesting tidbits. Kind of like Cory's
"geekvine" news from those in the programming trenches.

It sure looks to me like military planners are preparing martial law
contingency plans. I know I won't let the happytalkers with their talk
of how Russia is now approaching 90% completion (of what, their first
Five Year Plan?) deter me from adding to my stockpiles. "Don't leave
home" remains the core of my plan, and martial law is not a good
environment to be leaving home in.
