Interesting, especially in light of the fact that Oregon is on the cutting
edge with regard to perhaps even more slippery-slope legislation regarding
human euthanasia. It only makes sense that they would pass legislation
allowing the corporate mining of human DNA. All this stuff is directly
related to the re-emerging paradigm that "the benefits of X to The State
outweigh the privacy issues and/or rights of the individual." All very
Hitlerian and Platonic, and the philosophy, as well as recent history, are
very clear indicators of where it will all end.
