You missed my point. Personally, I think the Red Chinese, like others, had
been given PROMIS, but, unlike the others, may have discovered the "backdoor"
and retooled it so that it could be used IN REVERSE, AGAINST the US network
monitoring information filtered through it. In other words, PROMIS or
PROMIS-type technology COULD have helped China penetrate high-level secret
databases in the US. (My 'nose" tells me so.)
So, the option of "anything they do, we can UN-do" may be a TWO-WAY street
now,
with still others, e.g., the Mossad in Israel, already COUNTER-players in
that game.
