Hilary Clinton, eagerly courting New York's politically- important bloc of influential Jewish voters, recently stunned observers by declaring forthrightly that Jerusalem is "the eternal capital of Israel." Her husband, who acts as President of the United States on behalf of the powerful and secretive Bilderberg Group, openly favours a Palestinian state. Just prior to this year's recent secret meeting of the Bilderbergers in Sintra, Portugal, the NEW WORLD ORDER INTELLIGENCE UPDATE warned that one of the items on the agenda was a Mid-East "peace treaty." Our confidential informant alerted us to the fact that "the deal on Jerusalem has already been done" and that the future for Israel did not look good. Israeli Prime Minister Barak was elected with the assiduous help of Bilderbergers Tony Blair and Bill Clinton, apparently to advance the Bilderberger "peace agenda" - which will ultmately lead to war. Since his election, he has thrown himself wholeheartedly into this work, mending fences with Syria's Assad, gaining the support of Egypt's Mubarak, and eagerly preparing Israelis for the inevitable return of the strategically-vital Golan Heights to Syria. Now the actual details of this "Jerusalem deal" are beginning to emerge, and first and foremost among them are the construction of a Palestinian Parliament in the "Israeli capital" of Jerusalem - which would logically make it the "Palestinian capital", too! Thus, both Bill and Hilary's wishes and dreams, though at first sight contradictory, are enabled to paradoxically come true! For apparent and cosmetic convenience, the official line is that the capital of any future Palestinian state will be Jericho, but the presence of the Parliament and President's Office in East Jerusalem will inevitably reduce Jericho to the status of an administrative centre while East Jerusalem becomes the increasingly influential centre of Palestinian power. An "understanding", reached three years ago between Mahmoud Abbas [Palestinian deputy leader] and Yessi Beilin [Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister], and since publicly denied, gave the Palestinians a free hand to construct a Parliament and capital offices in Abu Dis, on the outskirts of East Jerusalem. In fine balance, the site is partly in East Jerusalem and partly outside it; and the Palestinian government which will function from there is to have authority over all Palestinians in East Jerusalem but no sovereignty over any of the city's physical territory. It will be "in Jerusalem without being in Jerusalem", and "rule from Jerusalem without owning any land there." Construction on the five-storey Parliament building is now well-advanced, conducted under conditions of absolute secrecy, and completely ignored by the present Israeli administration - which is only too well aware of the true nature of the building beginning to rise there. In a nice touch, the Office of the President is so positioned in the complex that Yassar Arafat will actually be located in East Jerusalem itself, a symbolic fact not likely to be lost on any visitors he receives there officially. Equally significantly, the US$14 million building is a virtual mirror-image in layout of the Israel Knesset across the city, and both buildings are positioned exactly the same distance from the most holy site in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount. When Palestinian statehood comes, Jerusalem will then be openly declared to be the Palestinian capital, one "shared" [in diplomatic, and - in light of the Bilderberger's long-term plans for the Middle East, now coming to fruition - "temporary" terms] with Israel. But the plot does not end there. Plans exist for the construction of a magnificent and stately residence for a personage of immense and international religious importance, who is expected to take up residence as the "overseer" and "guarantor" of the city within the foreseeable future. Before that second phase can occur, however, Phase One - the successful introduction of two national parliaments and administrations into Jerusalem - must be successfully orchestrated. That first phase is now one giant step closer to completion. Then will come Phase Two. And finally, Phase Three - war and destruction!
