I think I agree with the two bottom lines above. Taken together,
HALF the people polled believe as I do below:
Personally, I give us A LOT of credit. In other words, whether
intentional or not, I feel that the preparation propaganda we
have been being BOMBARDED WITH over the last decade HAS WORKED!
IF it was SEEMINGLY peaceful contact, WHETHER MOST TRUSTED THEM
OR NOT (which, btw, seems to be a MUCH more relevant question
that these polls SHOULD BE addressing, BUT FOR SOME REASON NEVER
HAVE?), I feel that after a very brief (i.e., like 1/2 a day)
period of shock in which there would be as many people in a
lethargic daze as there were in emotional agitation, AFTER WE
WOKE THE NEXT DAY to find them still here, us still alive, and
otherwise things as usual, I feel strongly that the VAST MAJORITY
of people in the world would have adopted a WIDE EYED attitude,
one of cautious, extremely serious yet alert, CALM!
After all, WE AIN'T DUMB! If we hadn't realized on our own
within several hours, then our leaders will have told us via
media, etc, THAT THERE WOULD OBVIOUSLY BE NOTHING THAT WE COULD
DO ABOUT ANYTHING THAT THEY WANTED TO DO TO US...that there was
really no need to panic because IF they had wanted to harm us, at
that point we wouldn't have been contemplating or discussing
this, i.e., they WOULD HAVE ALREADY DONE SO.
I think down deep we all would SOON realize that even IF they
were to change their minds and decide later to destroy us, there
ain't a damn thing we could do about it anyway...so we might as
well take one of the same two options we have ALWAYS HAD open to
us, i.e., be a fool and get locked up or shot, or settle down and
see what comes.
Any way ya cut it, it would be exciting, huh? Contrary to what
one would tend to believe, I think many would turn to prayer/God,
many for the first time.
But, as far as freaking out, open displays of civil disobedience,
violence, open panic in the streets, looting, shooting each
other, etc, etc, etc, NO WAY!!!!!!
Now, on the other hand, if "they" began to brake loose on our
asses with their ET weapons of mass destruction, i.e., ID4
scenario...ARE YOU KIDDIN'ME?!?! Why HELL YES!! It don't take
no Bigelo Roper poll to know we'd be freaking the f*%k out, BIG
TIME! I mean, Forgettaboutit! Literally!!
Well, I'm ready to place a modest wager or two on the above. Any
takers ... and what odds do I get? :)

Just like our government does when they don't like the results of
some study THEY FUNDED, THIS DUDE WOULD NEVER HAVE RELEASED THESE
FINDINGS UNLESS IT MATCHED HIS AGENDA!! Is it just me, or does
anyone else get the feeling that this survey was just more of the
same ol'crap, i.e., maybe preparation, but FOR SURE some kind of
mind game??
