drug company cartel arrangements to exploit the people
are not laissez-faire capitalism, but its opposite: fascism!
Government is and always has been a fraud! A front
for interests to exploit the people. Democracy is always
a fraud for an elite, of whatever type, to gain the consent
of the governed.
Laissez-faire was rejected in America circa 1913. It is
the movement for government regulation and guidance
of "Capitalism", covertly sponsored by the Capitalists
themselves that has gotten us where we are today!

Well, I could at least agree with this line even though that part about
laissez-faire capitalism is a contradiction to/within the author's own
words. That, and laissez-faire capitalism is precisely the kind of economic
bovine excrement which has gotten us in this mess in the first place.
