Last Saturday, C-Span televised a conference held by the CCC, a racist
organization based in Atlanta. One of the speakers went to great lengths
to try and tarnish the reputation of former President Lincoln by
giving new life to the anti-Lincoln propaganda that proliferated when
President Lincoln was alive.
President Lincoln's views on African Americans is old news. Of course, he
was a racist. Most white Americans were racist at the time. However,
that still does not negate the fact that he fought against what he thought
was an evil institution.
President Davis was keeping people in bondage.
