I believe citizens should have the right to own firearms. Of course. THe
problem is the proliferation of guns on the streets..easy access, and the
fact that we are undergoing a form of collective psychosis.
We're the "richest" country on the face of the earth, but how many
millions of people live in poverty, or lack basic health insurance. We
have more churches than any other country in the world, but our kids are
killing one another..
And we hate one another. Just look at some of the completely insane posts
on the net.
It's a little too late for a "love-in" at this stage of civilization. But
what do you think the future will be like for this place? I think we have
to start getting beyond the medieval thinking of the past and be willing
to contemplate some alternatives to the current system.
