101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) ON ALERT!

The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky,
was placed on alert today.
The dispatch came from an associate of mine I knew during my 2 years
in the 5th Special Forces Group, who is stationed at Fort Campbell,
with ties (still) to our "home" base, Ft. Bragg.
It would be interesting to know the Military's reasoning for this
drastic move. Information also indicates that the 82nd Airborne
Division has also been placed on alert. I'm being told that the
(reason) for this is the possible use of U.S. Troops against U.S.
citizens either in the coming attack against the Patriot/Milita
communities (reported to be on 8/4/99) in which they would be used
either as backup troops to the UN/NATO forces already in position,
or as "Peacekeeping" troops for the entire Western region where
these attacks will take place, keeping the remainder of the American
populace restrainted and under control. Another reason I've been
given is the same "Peacekeeping" roll for the entire country
after the "Nuking" of the East and West coasts by the Russians
(reported to be sometime between (9/9 - 9/14), keeping the
remainder of the American populace under control, under martial law.
I MUST STRESS that this information has not yet been coraborated
by more than one source, that source being a member of the 5th
Special Forces Group. I am in the process of doing that validation
process now. DO NOT run off in a panic - merely investigate as
throughly and as quickly as possible......

A. Representatives from a group called American Atheists, as well as other
atheists, were received at the White House in early May, where they aired
various grievances � based on the often-misconstrued notion of the
separation of church and state. One youngster, for example, complained that
he had been kicked out of the Boy Scouts � which of course is a private
organization. Nevertheless, the atheists expressed satisfaction with the
"very positive" first step with the Clinton Administration. The gathering,
reported the Religious News Service, "is believed to be the first formal
White House meeting between an organized group and representatives of the
President." The unbelievers� contact was with a member of the White House
Office of Public Liaison who normally meets with representatives of the
religious community.
