There was the reporter for the Martha's Vineyard Gazette who saw a bright flash of light in the sky at the time JFK Jr's plane crashed according to the following article; http://www.vny.com/cf/News/upidetail.cfm?QID=95934 The Piper Saratoga has it's forward baggage compartment up near the engine, the perfect place to hide a bomb. Now why would the government "fear" rumors and speculation? Are they afraid somebody will figure out something the government doesn't want the American people to know? Now that the bodies have been found, will the government botch the autopsies, just like what happened with JFK after his assassination in Dallas? This was reported by UPI, and on a Boston television station, and at one point the Kennedy spokesman was asked about it by a reporter on Martha's Vineyard, this was on CNN. He said he did not know anything about it. Has anyone seen heard any followup story to this "flash of light" report? In the forward bagage compartment a bomb would almost certainly have interrupted power to the transponder, and the altitude reports would not have been received. On the other hand, a bomb in the tail would have seperated the tail. With no horz. stabilizer to counteract the weight of the engine, the aircraft would nose over into a steep dive, just as was recorded by Air Traffic Control. ----- Aloha, He'Ping, Om, Shalom, Salaam.
