In the instance of this Fixed Cross, I, personally, do not wish to rely exclusively on the traditional planets of the solar system, because: 1) Eight of those bodies are in severe conflict; 2) Transiting Venus in Retrograde Motion is extremely unstable, leaving Virgo to re-enter Leo on August 15, 1999, four days after the New Leo Moon/Solar Eclipse; and because 3) Awesome, mighty & intimidating transiting Pluto in Sagittarius begins to turn Stationary on August 8 in preparation for turning to Direct Motion on August 18, 1999. Many astrologers suggest that the way out of this current astrological dilemma resides in "using" Pluto to pique our power to transform & to evolve. I personally do not disagree, but to state so flatly that we must transform & evolve, without first considering from what we are transforming, or to what we will transform, is akin to teaching a five-year old to swim by throwing him into a circle of sharks in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.
