Officialdom contends that the huge fireball explosion was "about a mile
above the surface" and that splashdown was 8 seconds later.

Airline pilot David McClaine�s report of the massive fireball was TIME
STAMPED at 8:31:50 as noted in the above TIMELINE.

He reportedly estimated that his reaction time to make the report after he
saw the massive fireball explosion was 3 SECONDS.

Which would put the TIME OF THE MASSIVE FIREBALL EXPLOSION AT 8:31:47.

And SPLASHDOWN AT 8:31:55,  assuming the accuracy of officialdom�s 8
seconds from MF to splashdown.

WHICH REDUCES THE TIMELINE OF MAJOR EVENTS RELATED TO THE DISASTER TO 44
SECONDS - from the initial event at 13,780 feet that started tearing the
747 apart at 8:31:11 until splashdown at 8:31:55.

McClaine reportedly contends that he was PERSONALLY INTERVIEWED THE DAY
AFTER THE DISASTER by 2 men who identified themselves as FBI agents.

In short to this point, Kallstrom�s agents had the evidence of the 44
SECOND TIMELINE FROM IE TO SPLASHDOWN IN HAND LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER THE
DISASTER.

IT�S IMPOSSIBLE for Kallstrom or anyone else to try to fit a missile
shootdown of the airliner at 13,780 feet at 8:31:11 into the 60 seconds
TIMELINE, much less the 44 seconds timeline from IE to splashdown, because
it would be in IRRECONCILABLE CONFLICT WITH THE TIMELINE OF THE STREAK
WITNESSES OBSERVATIONS.

ALL of the streak witnesses also saw the massive fireball explosion
according to NTSB Exhibit 4A.  Yet, their observations of the streak
IMMEDIATELY PRECEEDED and TRACKED TO the massive fireball explosion "about
a mile above the surface".

Which, needless to say, is in IRRECONCILABLE CONFLICT with both the FBI/CIA
and NTSB "explanation" videos.

The witnesses UNIFORMLY reported only ONE streak and only ONE massive
fireball explosion.  The streak was not and could not have been seen
ascending at or above 13,780 feet as portrayed in the "explanation" videos
AND track to but no higher than the massive fireball explosion as UNIFORMLY
reported by the streak witnesses.

following the disaster and further dramatizes the IMMEDIATE PROXIMITY of
the streak to the massive fireball explosion.

Additionally, Meyer contends that he and his crewmates ALL agreed at the
time that the elapsed time from the massive fireball explosion until
splashdown was APPROXIMATELY TEN SECONDS, further supporting officialdom�s
contention that the ET from MF to splashdown was about 8 seconds.

Meyer�s helicopter was on a practice flight at Gabreski Airport and his co-
pilot, Chris Baur, reported what they saw to Gabreski tower and requested
clearance to leave the pattern to investigate.  Interestingly, Meyer�s
DETAILED presentation earlier noted documents his later contentions that
what he saw was a missile shootdown of the 747 at 13,780 feet.  Keep in
mind the "shootdown" would have had to occur at 8:31:11 at that altitude.
Yet, he obviously did not and could not have seen a "shootdown" of the
airliner at 13,780 feet only 3 to 4 seconds before he saw the massive
fireball explosion well over a mile lower in the sky.

How big was the massive fireball explosion?
http://www.multipull.com/twacasefile/aviator.html  is the personally
prepared detail report of witnesses Sven Faret & Ken Wendell who flew over
to the smoke cloud it left and found its top to be at 7700 feet.  A Missile
Hugger has calculated that the massive fireball explosion was 2000+ feet in
diameter.  If the bottom of the massive fireball explosion was "about a
mile above the surface" as alleged by officialdom and if the massive
fireball was 2000+ feet in diameter, the top would have been at, gosh,
about 7700 feet?

The FBI and NTSB are well aware of Meyer�s missile shootdown allegations,
in part no doubt because of Meyer�s active cooperation with a retired Navy
pilot, Bill Donaldson, who has also made widely publicized allegations,
including in his own website http://www.twa800.com/ ,  that TWA Flight 800
was the victim of a missile shootdown.

It seems reasonable to assume that the FBI and NTSB would both like to get
Donaldson and his supporters, who reportedly include 2 retired Admirals and
a retired General, off their necks and that a simple way to do it would be
to RELEASE THE GABRESKI ATC TAPE TRANSCRIPT TO THE PUBLIC to document the
TIME that Baur radioed the report of what they had seen.  It�s clear from
Meyer�s detailed presentation that the radio report was IMMEDIATELY AFTER
the massive fireball explosion - and likely a safe bet that it was
timestamped at just about precisely the same instant that McClaine�s radio
report was to another ATC tower - 8:31:50 -  THIRTY-NINE SECONDS AFTER the
initial event started tearing the 747 apart well over a mile higher in the
sky.

Over 3 years have now elapsed since the disaster, far too long to leave the
Flight 800 Families in the middle of an accusatory war of words between
officialdom and the Missile Huggers.

The Missile Huggers are Kallstrom�s own Frankenstein creations.  He knew or
should have known in less than 24 hours what the TIMELINE of the major
events was and it should have been glaringly apparent within only a few
days from the witness reports his 1000+ agents speedily obtained that the
observations of the streak witnesses ALL tracked to the massive fireball
explosion "about a mile above the surface" 36-39 seconds LATER and NOT to
the 747 at 13,780 feet at 8:31:11.

He was advised by his own experts within little more than a few weeks that
there was NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF A MISSILE SHOOTDOWN [or bomb].

Yet, he pushed for and obtained authorization to re-construct a major part
of the  wreckage and to contract for millions of dollars in outside
services in his stated intention to "get the scumbags who did this" before
belatedly announcing well over a year later that there was NO EVIDENCE of a
missile shootdown [or bomb].

Then, on a flimsy pretext, he tried to permanently give the witness reports
gathered by his army of agents  a "Top Secret" status.  He did indeed
engage in a "coverup" effort - of his own mass of mess.  All of which
breathed life into his Frankenstein creations., the Missile Huggers.  Who
promptly accused him of being an active participant in the felonious
coverup of a missile shootdown of Flight 800 and who in return he labeled
as "bottom feeders", etc.

In summary, MOST of the $40,000,000+ spent todate on the investigation of
the disaster WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SPENT had it not been for Kallstrom�s
outrageously unprofessional pigheaded conduct.

It�s routine for those in government or private business to try to coverup
embarrassing problems.  Indeed the definition of coverup is:  "an attempt
to prevent something embarrassing from becoming public".  But those who try
to coverup what Kallstrom has done have only 2 possible excuses - ignorance
or a desire to avoid embarrassing others and/or themselves.

Most in or out of government are ignorant of the TIMELINE of the major
events related to the TWA 800 disaster, much less the  IRRECONCILABLE
CONFLICT between what the witnesses actually saw and the notion that they
saw a missile shootdown of the 747.  But it�s an easy thing for anyone to
privately determine for themselves simply by entering the approximate TIME
they believe each or any witness saw
the streak in the 60 second TIMELINE already included here [or a 90 second,
120 second or any other timeline they wish] and see for themselves that
each or any witness did not and could not have seen what Kallstrom and his
Frankenstein creations convinced themselves the witnesses saw, a missile
shootdown of the airliner - and that those making the shootdown allegations
have always been and continue to be purveyors of the impossible.

Kallstrom managed to feather his nest with a cushy job in private business
waiting when he decided to take early retirement and get out of the mess he
had created.  Grassley could have and should have subpoened him for the
hearing but didn�t and Kallstrom made himself unavailable.  Although he
engages in occasional javeline tossing at his critics from the sidelines,
it�s probably a safe bet he will continue to make himself unavailable to
the extent possible for any controlled Q & A session in which some javeline
catching would likely also be required.

Some of those in leadership positions at the NTSB may not be so lucky.
Although it�s reasonable to assume it was their ignorance of what the
witnesses specifically saw and WHEN  they saw it in the TIMELINE because
Kallstrom shut out their Witness Interview Teams at the outset of the
investigation that led them to rely in large part on the FBI reports about
the witnesses, the NTSB leadership did entangle themselves in Kallstrom�s
mass of mess with their own untenable "explanation" video and the time to
gracefully extricate themselves may have just about run out because of
their own continued footdragging about releasing evidence such as the
Gabreski ATC tape transcript while trying to give the appearance of
ignoring the javeline tossing between Kallstrom and the Missile Huggers -
which, as already noted, is focusing more and more attention on WHAT the
witnesses saw and WHEN in the TIMELINE they saw it.

I wrote to the NTSB a few months ago and urged them to have their Witness
Interview Teams carefully and thoroughly interview some of the witnesses,
particularly including airline pilot McClaine who apparently came to the
erroneous conclusion from other input added to what he actually saw that a
yellowish colored landing light he had been noticing for perhaps as long as
six minutes up until the moment before the massive fireball exploded might
have been Flight 800 - which yellowish light some of the Missile Huggers
had by tortuous reasoning contended was flames - which raised the
possibility that somebody in the FBI with an equal dose of missile mania
had used as the basis for the FBI/CIA "explanation" video of the headless
747 trailing flames as it allegedly climbed several thousand feet aftter
the decapitation - the alleged explanation of the ascending streak in that
video.  Which the NTSB didn�t find completely palatable but nevertheless
adopted much from when preparing its own "explanation" video.

There is good reason to believe that the NTSB Witness Interview Teams did
then closely question some of the witnesses - including a 2 hour session
with McClaine.

And that the NTSB then also interviewed some of the analysts of the
original FBI witness "interviews".  Which obviously wouldn�t have been
necessary unless the FBI representations about the witnesses observations
didn�t mesh in some important way with what the NTSB Witness Interview
Teams  determined for themselves from some of the witnesses.

Nobody, no matter how hard they try,  can make a silk purse out of a sows
ear about WHAT the witnesses saw and WHEN they saw it in the TIMELINE of
events and that includes Kallstrom, his Missile Hugger creations and the
NTSB.  The initial event started tearing the 747 apart at 8:31:11 at 13,780
feet.  The massive fireball exploded "about a mile above the surface" 36-39
seconds later.  The streak witnesses ALL saw it IMMEDIATELY PRECEED AND
TRACK TO the massive fireball explosion.  The FBI/CIA and NTSB
"explanation: videos are in IRRECONCILABLE CONFLICT with WHAT the witnesses
saw and WHEN they saw it in the TIMELINE of events.

That�s EMBARRASSING for the FBI, CIA, NTSB and the Missile Huggers to
admit.  When the fire gets too hot, the FBI and CIA have a target of
opportunity to pin the blame on - Kallstrom.  Which won�t hold water very
well.

But the NTSB is in a much more ticklish situation, having just taken part
in 2 congressional hearings in which its spokespersons insisted it was the
ONLY agency qualified to be in charge of air crash investigations, so how
do they gracefully admit they didn�t properly analyze the witness
"interviews" they obtained from the FBI as evidenced by their own untenable
"explanation" video based in such large part on the FBI�s "interviews"?

Well, they still have a small but fast closing window of opportunity to
minimize their own embarrassment.  They DID eventually follow up the FBI
"interviews" with careful and thorough interviews by their own Witness
Interview Teams - which they would have done at the outset had they not
been shut out by Kallstrom.  They DID thereafter also interview the
original witness report "analysts".  And the results of doing what they
should have been permitted to do at the outset clearly demonstrate why they
should have been in charge at the outset.  In short, their own Witness Team
interviews determined that that there were NO "Missile Witnesses" and their
own Witness Team interviews are buttressed by the OTHER ATC tapes, such as
the Gabreski Airport tower tape, which were picked up at the outset by the
FBI and it has taken a lot of time to unravel the facts they should have
had immediate access to at the outset but they are proud and pleased to
report that the witness part of the investigation is now finally concluded
and the allegations about "Missile Witnesses" finally laid to rest.

But if the NTSB leadership decides instead to proceed in due course to
issue a final report that does NOT address WHAT the witnesses saw and WHEN
they saw it in the TIMELINE, they will step into quicksand
because Kallstrom will keep tossing javelines at the Missile Huggers from
the sidelines and the Missile Huggers will keep tossing javelins at
officialdom in general and the constant exchange of javelins will continue
to focus attention on WHAT the witnesses saw and WHEN they saw it in the
TIMELINE of events - and I�ll keep stirring the pot with mini-books such as
this in my continuing efforts to get all concerned to come to grips with
the reality of what the witnesses actually saw - a fiery streak intimately
connected to the immediately following massive fireball explosion, a fiery
streak that DIDN�T EVEN EXIST until long AFTER the initial event that
doomed TWA Flight 800.

Public release at this time of the Gabreski Airport ATC tape transcript can
resolve the Kallstrom/Missile Hugger rukus NOW.  Three years have passed
since the disaster.  Why should the public have to wait any longer for the
Gabreski ATC tape transcript disclosure?

Why should the Flight 800 Families have to wait?

Because some are intent on trying to avoid embarrassment that will
inevitably prove to be unavoidable anyway?
