-Caveat Lector-

This is more by way of a question for our Templar and Masonic scholars.
The rift between the anglosaxon and french bloodlines was said to have
taken place at Giseau in France.
The two factions it is allegorically said, met in this field at Giseau in
France under an elm, one faction alternately claiming the shade each
session ...
but, the story goes .... the english faction got 'greedy' and hogged the
shade, breaking with tradition.
The French are supposed to have gotten very angry and split the Elm.

Now at Giseau is a church which clearly shows a large elm on the inner
chapel wall with all the merovingian family tree on it.

This one symbolic story apparently holds the Key to why the French are at
Odds with the English .....

Can anyone give us more detail on it ???
