Differently-abled. Dysfunctional comprehension. Creative definitions.
Or, people believe whatever the hell they want to believe. It doesn't
matter what the consensus definitions of 'socialism', 'capitalism',
'communism', 'democracy', 'republic', 'tyranny etc may be - some folks
like to stick with their own personal definitions, rather like the Red
Queen: "Words mean whatever *I* say they mean."
Now, in some cases, certain words *must* have very specific definitions.
When I use the term 'entertainment' in a technical discussion, I mean
"whatever people do to organize and occupy their time when they're not
doing anything useful." Most political/economic/religious/artistic/sports
discussions are examples of entertainment, using that definition. But
when people define socialism/communism as being ANY community/gov't
intrusion in economic activity, they're just plain wrong. Bother.
